Well decorated 1BR/2BA beachfront unit. Great location for a family with young children! All of our daily and weekly guests receive the following complimentary guest package: 2 beach chairs and umbrella set up for you on the beach (March 1 to October 31); 18 holes of golf with 1/2 cart at Shalimar Pointe Golf Club daily; one free pass to a 2-hour Dolphin Cruise daily (2 different cruises to choose from); 1 adult and 1 child pass to snorkeling daily (April - October); nightly movie rentals, FREE Internet access (most units wireless).

The condo is directly over the pool and hot tub area and is very loud at times. The appliances are very cheap, but the bed and furniture were reasonably comfortable.

Overall the apartment was comfortable. The managment staff was cordial and helpful. The couch in the unit that I stayed in needs replacing. The carpet in the bedroom is worn. Other than these two items the property was in good condition. The view of the Gulf out the back doors is beautiful.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Pelican Isle. There was only one negative, the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and we could not sleep on it. Since there were five of us, we had to sleep three in the king size bed. If the couch would be replaced we would definitely plan on staying in the same unit next year. The decor was very attractive and we liked being on the first floor right above the pool.

Room was a little too close for the pool and hot tub if you need more quiet. But the first floor room was best for easy beach access. Great location. Great view.

Pelican Isle 117 was comfortable and stylish. From the moment I walked through the front door I felt relaxed and leisurely. The view of the Gulf was incredible and beach access was unbeatable. I would love to stay in 117 again and have already recommended Pelican Isle to my family and friends.

The only comment is about the cost. While laying out by the pool, I listened to people discussing the rates they had received. I don't understand why some can stay for $50-$75 a night cheaper than others. Why can't it be a set rate? What does one have to do to get a "cheaper" rate?

The room was nicely furnished and very quite. I really appreciate the complete window treatments which blocked all light. I was working nights and needed to sleep late. VERY NICE.

There were dirty cups and other items in the kitchen cabinets. There was no dish washing detergent. The unit appeared clean, yet could have used some more dusting.
