Dissapointed in this unit. Large stain on carpet in living room,curtains shredded at balcony door. Also dissapointed in Southerns handling of our finances. We had to change our arrival date due to sons heart condition and hospitalization. Then we had to leave early. Only got 300.00 dollars back and then you took out cleaning fee. I have never been able to locate the amount supposedly credited to our bank account.

Although we strive to be transparent in our zero refund policy, under the circumstances, we felt compelled to forgive any unused portion of rent. Although we were authorized to refund the deposit, we would only be able to refund the sum of days that you did not use. If you'll look closely at your bill, you'll see that you have only paid for the amount of nights that you stayed plus normal fees and taxes. If you'll check your deposit activity on the16th Feb, you'll be sure to find a direct deposit to you account for the difference.

This was the first time we stayed here and we loved the condo and the location. It was close to Destin w/o having to be right in Destin (which I Loved). Southern was very helpful and easy to rent from.
Our condo was very clean and comfortable. I thought our bedroom would have a balcony but it didn't but I think that was my fault I didn't read it right none of the rooms have a bedroom with a balcony but it did have a big window you could open. I like that we didn't have to carry our trash all the way downstairs there was a trash shoot at the end of each hallway. The pool was so nice and so was the hot tub. I really don't have anything to complain about it was really nice and we totally enjoyed our stay. One thing I would say is that if you love to watch TV while you are in bed it may be a little difficult b/c the TV in the master is very, very tiny. -

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was nice and clean, the pool area and access to the beach were great! The location was great, off the main highway but very close to everything! Loved that there was no check-in or room key to keep track of just the door code. We would definately stay here again!

The unit, Sea Oats 304, was very nice,clean and quiet. The unit was decorated nicely and was equipped with everything you would need for any legenth of stay.
The location of the property is very central and you can access both the Fort Walton and Destin area with little or nn problem. There are several resturants and shopping areas close by.
The pool and other out door areas are very clean and well maintained with easy beach access.
I would recommend this unit and will hopefully be returning soon.

We have stayed at the sea oats several times and love it. This unit is one of the nicer ones and if you cook it has everything you could possibly need which is great. Was a little disappointed with the association "quiet" hours are 10pm-9am. the workers (grass cutting, constructing workers on roof, dragging chairs across pool area at 8am) we're the loudest every morning it was something with employees, not the guests. But we will go back. Love it, nice out of the way but still close to everything.

Our stay was wonderful. Unit 304 at Sea Oats was the envy of our friends who rented other units at Sea Oats. Very updated decor and this unit was very well stocked with kitchen utensils, pans, towels, sheets, anything you would need. It was also very clean. We would definitely rent this unit again.

I really enjoyed my return trip to The Sea Oats. I stayed here when the second building was still under construction. If I remember correctly it was finished after the beachfront building. My life has changed greatly since then having lost my husband 8 years ago, his mother 15 months prior to that and his father since. We traveled as a family to Fort Walton Beach yearly back then. My daughters and I had not been back in 7 years. We were there to celebrate Dad's first birthday in Heaven. Finances had kept us away. So this trip had great meaning for us. Our stay at your facility was a wonderful way to celebrate our return to one of our favorite places. The room was neat, nicely decorated and clean; the pool and beachfront welcoming. The easy check in with the door code made arrival like coming home. Thank you for the ease in reserving the room. We hope to return again soon.

When we arrived to check in, it was quick and easy. We really like the location of the condo. The view of the beach was fabulous. The rooms were very relaxing and we all got a good night sleep. This was a great getaway.
