I have stayed in many condos within azure. I appreciate that there are 2 bedrooms with attached bathrooms in this condo as it makes it easier for the other couple who stayed with us. The main issue with this condo is the semi-circle couch. It eliminates one sleeping option for guests. As for azure as a whole - been staying here twice yearly since it opened and will continue to do so. This trip I was disappointed that the heated pool (opposite end of this condo) was under construction for resurfacing. This kept our end very occupied and noisier than normal. You had to battle for room in the hot tub! Otherwise - would most likely stay in this condo again. Best suggestion:If you sleep in the master bedroom - bring extra pillows - the ones in the room are terribly flat.

My family really loved the condo. Loved having the pool just outside of the patio. Close to some wonderful places to eat. Loved having the beach chairs set up for us each day. There were a few issues. The vent cover on the microwave was broken, fell off & hit me on the arm. Hurt like crazy. Pocket door to bathroom in the master bedroom would not close, door to 4th bedroom would not close & picture almost fell off wall when trying to straighten it because the wire had broken & someone had hung it back on the wall using the side of the frame. Grills were not close. It would have been great to have some on the side of the complex we were on. Dryer took forever to dry even the smallest load. Even with all of the issues, we would rent it again.

Great location, excellent pool and area, nice beach. Carpet needs replaced. Kitchen rug was terribly stained, furniture needed cleaning, had to wash 2 bedspreads because of condition and other 3 were just removed from beds. A friend stayed in another unit and it was in much better condition. I understand these units are used weekly but for the price charged I expect better conditions. I'VE been going to beaches for 25 years and this unit was one of the worst, just needs overall cleaning and upgrading.

The service was excellent.
The home was beautiful and perfect for our needs.
Location and amenities were also perfect for our needs, traffic, oh my gosh!!!
I was disappointed that we could not see the beach from our suite, I was let by the info sent that we would have that ocean view.
Also, dryer is not working correctly, took 5 or 6 hours to dry a load of towels. -

This is our second stay at azure #115. We love the location, size, and convenience of the pool and beach.
However, this year we walked in to get settled and not planning a trip to the store for a bit, but there was no toilet paper in any bathroom, basically none of the things we were promised to get through the first 24 hours. It took a little time, but someone did bring the items to us.
The large master mattress needs to be replaced. It was horrible. The large master and other "master" bedrooms need new light weight comforters. They are so heavy and not usable.
We still like the place and area, but for the price it would be nice for a couple of updates. -

Nice and clean. Some issues turning off the oven, had few kitchen utensils,(had to buy and oven mitt), one bathroom shower had slow drainage. Access to beach was wonderful!! Loved the back door access!! Great place for family's. Will definately use this condo again.

Azure 115 is a very nice condo situated very nicely within the complex. My primary goal was to have a groundfloor unit close to the pools as my wife suffers from fibromialgia and I have a 17 month old grandaughter who is a bit of a climber. Overall the unit is very nice but just needs a few little things. And when I say little I mean very little. Someone just needs to go thru and tighten some knobs and things of that nature.

Beautiful and well maintained building, grounds and unit. Although limited contact with staff - they were very professional and courteous.
Really like the convenience and security of the key pad entry system. And, the ice maker was incredible. Wish mine at home worked this well. Very nice excercise room.
Minor comments/suggestions:
The TV remote in living room did not work properly.
Need a spatula in kitchen.
Bunk bed was very noisey. We did not use since the top bunk, woke up the person on the bottom bunk.
Would be nice if the BBQ grills were near our unit. We had a very long walk to BBQ.

Azure #115 was perfect for our family (my husband and I, our son and wife, our daughter and husband and two young children). We had two small children with us and being close to the pool was perfect. The condo is large enough for us all.

I took 2 employees and 3 other girls on vacation. This place was only about 25
min. from the airport. Check in was a breeze. The people were so nice at the
counter. The room smelled clean and fresh. The pools were outstanding! The
location is right on the beach. The pier was within walking distance and there
were several things to do there.
I loved that the room was spacious. The couch was a little dirty, but it was
white, so it showed the dirt well. I would highly recommend this resort.
It was a little pricey though:(. -

The Azure is only 4 years old and in good condition except for some tile issues along the edge of the pool. We had to actually walk out by the parking garage to have cell service to text or make calls which was the biggest hassle of the vacation. Southern Resorts was nice and responsive to a hot water tank leakage, but did not give us the the network key password for internet use upon check in. Every morning we had to save chairs when the pool would open at 9am...some extra lounge chairs could be added for peak summer season. Remember to visit the beach service personel to reserve your seating for the week asap the first day upon arrival. My wife did not like not having a shelf in the master shower and the beds were literally on the floor with no box springs. There was black mold also in the master shower. Overall it was a good moderately priced vacation with the ability to walk out to the pool the best feature.

Cell phone coverage is unfortunately out of our hands; however, I can understand how frustrating that can be. In regards to the pool side chair situation, we have taken your suggestion and passed it on to Azure, and we expect to get more chairs for our upcoming busy season. I do apologize about the cracks in the tiles around the pool but they are scheduled to be repaired. We have addressed the mold issue in the shower and our cleaners will pay closer attention to this moving forward. Having stayed at the Azure two years ago, I knew that this four bedroom condo would be the perfect Spring Break facility for me, my two adult children, their spouses, and six grandchildren. It absolutely met our expectations. It was roomy and beautifully decorated. I added a blow up mattress in the bunk room so that four grandchildren could comfortably sleep there. Two infants slept in pack and plays in their parent's room.
We loved being on the first floor so that we merely walked from the gated patio to the pool and on to the beach. Not worrying about elevators, stairs or heavy hallway doors for little grandkids was great.
Everything in the condo was very clean except for the carpeting and sofa. Those definately need some attention. Also, since we cooked in a lot, it would have been helpful to have a cookie sheet, some large serving bowls, and a larger frying pan.
All in all we had a wonderful stay and would like to book the unit again for Spring Break 2010. -

We were planning a trip to Ft. Walton with a group of 6 (3 couples)and finally decided on Azure after extense research. We were extremely pleased with not only the ease of check-in or the beautiful surroundings but the location made it perfect for us. We would definately reccomend this location for anyone from families w/ small children (they have some cool pool areas for kids) to couples who need a retreat. We spent our days relaxing on the beach w/ pinacoladas and nights sampling all that Ft. Worth/Destin had to offer. Thank you again Souther Resorts for making this trip one to remember. We really enjoyed our stay at the Azure. The condo was very spacious and being on the first floor was super convenient. We were right beside the pool, and with the gated patio we didn't have to worry about our kids being able to get beyond the patio without us. It was also great to be so close to the pool/beach with having small children and all our gear we carried back and forth. We would definitely stay here again!

Thought the place was great and extremely convenient. We had small children and being on the ground floor right outside the pool was nice. The unit was beautiful! The only suggestion I would have is a shelf with hanging bar be installed above the washer/dryer to dry clothes that I didn't want to put in the dryer. The kitchen could have used some more pots/pans, cake pans and large bowls for serving. I do beach vacations quite often, so I came prepared with disposable cake pans.
