This three bedroom beachfront Fort Walton Beach condo is spacious enough for nine guests to escape to the beach. The views from this sixth floor accommodation are wonderful from several vantage points including the living room, balcony and the master bedroom. We went to do laundry and the dryer was not working. I called and spoke with one of the customer service people at Southern vacation Rentals around 9 a.m. and they said they would send somebody out that day which was Sunday. I waited until about 3 and called them back. they said they would have someone out today or Monday. I told them I did not come to the beach to wait on a repair man and they stated that I did not have to wait that they had their own code (thanks for telling me I would have gone to the beach and joined my family 6 hours earlier). I called again Monday morning to see when the repair people would be coming and they said before noon. At 2 p.m. I called them again and they said it is a newer dryer and Sears would have to come out to fix it and they did not know when that would be. I told them we rented the unit with a washer and dryer so we packed light and we were running out of clothes. They said I could go to a laundry mat and they would reimburse me I said no they said they would call me back. I got a call back and they offered to have someone pick up the laundry every morning starting Tuesday wash it and return it the same day. I said that sounds good. We bagged all of our laundry like they told us and put it inside the room. Tuesday at 11 Sears came by to look at the dryer and said it would take two weeks to get the parts. I called SVR back and let them know sears came by and what they said and to ask when they were picking up the laundry. Svr said they would call me back. At 4 p.m. I called SVR again and spoke with Jetney. She was nice and said they thought Sears came and fixed the unit and that is why they did not pick up the clothes. She said she would pick them up personally at 8 in the morning and get them cleaned by noon. She did what she said and came by and we did get the clothes back Wednesday at noon. Unfortunately they did not come to pick up clothes Thursday or Friday like they stated

Our family has been staying at this wonderful condo for several years now. We continue to choose it year after year because it is so well maintained & has everything you need to cook a holiday meal. Our stay includes Thanksgiving, the kitchen is so well stocked you can prepare a feast & still have cookware left over! The view is phenomenal especially at sunset... you wil not be disappointed if you choose this condo, guaranteed!!!

Southern Vacation was great at getting us scheduled and answering any questions we had. The water wasn't the best for the week we chose...lots of sea weed and heavier waves most days...but that's just "luck of the draw" and we managed to have a nice time.
As for the cono...it was not near as clean as the first time we stayed here 2 years ago, appeared to be a bit unsettled with pictures sloppily hung, furniture a bit shuffled, and the balcony furniture not near as nice for lounging and enjoying time out there. But, our family of 8 does manage to have a good time wherever we go...and we did! -

Located exactly where you would want to be while staying in the Fort Walton/Destin area...right in the middle of it all without being in e "middle of it all". Everything you would ever want to do...wat to eat...or want to see is all within five minutes of you. We are definitley heading back next year.

We loved the condo. The view was perfect. My only two complaints were the DVD player in the two guest rooms did not work and the reception desk did not know how to rent the Dvd's.

I was very pleased with everything from the day we arrived till the day we left. Room was clean,very spacious 3 bed,3 bath. The master bedroom was fantastic with the big whirlpool tub also. The view was great with the beach only steps away and the pools were nice as well. It will sure be a resort i look up next time im ready to go down to Florida again.

As always, Azure 605, remains one of the Emerald Coast's best kept secrets! We stayed from Jan 1- April 2nd. and loved every minute of it. The ramsey's have an awesome condo. The maintaince staff is excellent and Laura behind the desk is very good at her job,always friendly and couteous.

We've been coming to Destin/Fort Walton for about 18 years now and love the Azure. This is the best furnished unit we've stayed in so far. The convenience of the beach and the proximaty of great restaurants is the beyond compare.
We hope to stay at the Azure and will be sure to book thru Southern Resorts again. The service was great and we couldn't ask for more

Service from condo owner and southern resorts was fantastic. Very easy to get questions answered and was very handy being located just a block or two from the condo.
Upon walking in, I was amazed that I was going to be staying here in a place so nice! Everything is top notch. The appliances, the furniture, the decorating, even the pillows. Kitchen had everything you needed. I loved the ceiling fans in the rooms and the his and hers closets in the master bedroom. Master bath was amazing also. Balcony is super huge and has 2 lounge chairs, and 6 other chairs with 2 tables. Took several naps out there. View is stunning, not limited at all. 6th floor was very private. Wifi was great and easy. I liked the guestbooks available so you could read other's experiences while watching tv.
Pools were (i assume) heated which you were able to just walk right in like bath water which was refreshing during the chilly hours, and even during the midday sun. Hot tubs were great and in general during my time there the pools only had about 5-8 people total in them. I loved how there were floats and footballs and other things available to use while you were in the pool!
It's a big place for jsut the two of us, but it was probably my best vacation ever. If we visit Ft Walton again, I will definitely be back to Azure 605! I would recommend it as well as Southern Resorts.

Azure is located in the most convenient spot in Fort Walton Beach. Great resturants, grocery stores, churches, and shops are all within minutes away. The pools are awesome and the walk to the beach is pleasantly short. Unit 605 was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The thing we liked best about our stay was the convenience and the thing we liked least was the beach service.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo was spacious and beautifully decorated. There was plenty of room for my husband and I along with my 2 daughters, son-in-law and 2 grandchildren.We all relaxed and enjoyed the pools, free beach set up and the covered parking. The balcony was very large and had a wonderful view.We are planning to vacation here next year!!

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Azure unit 605. My husband and I stayed with my parents and my three young children. We had a beautiful view of the gulf. Our unit was very well decorated and roomy enough for all of us. The girls particularly loved the bunk beds and the trundle. They were delighted to have their own space. We love going to Azure. The children love the Mushroom water fountain and the two lovely pools. My husband and I love the fact that we are right on the beach. Convenience is key with three young children! Thank you very much for a wonderful experience. We can't wait until next time!!!

Let me start by saying.. the property itself is beautiful, but THIS CONDO is not being taken care of by the management company, Southern Resorts.
There were large chunks of vomit in the bunk beds, and on the frames themselves.
The condo was dirty, not vacuumed, not mopped, bedding not changed, and very dusty.
The master shower floor was moldy.
Many of the electrical outlets did not work.
The shower rods were either off, or falling, and not being held up properly.
They took our bedding for cleaning after discovering the vomit on the first night, and never brought it back, so we had to make do with pillows / blankets on two of the beds in the bunk room, the pull out trundle had no bedding, not even a sheet.
We had $400.00 worth of my children's skateboards stolen from the condo, we assume by housekeeping.
Southern Resorts offered us the same 15% on our NEXT stay, that they offer EVERYONE that stays with them.
They were very not at all sympathetic to the skateboards, they just repeatedly told me that they were not liable.
I want to conclude by saying, that it is my opinion that the owner of this condo, should hire a different management company. The condo is large & in a great location, beautiful beach, great beach service.
And one more thing.... Don't visit during Spring Break,.. the weather is horrible. It's very cold, and it stormed almost every day. There was also a RED FLAG on the beach every day, except one day it was Yellow... which means the kids can't get in the water.
I recommend AZURE property, but not this condo under this management.

The Azure #605 is beautiful and perfect for two families vacationing together. It offers enough space for everyone to have privacy. The condo was very clean, nicely decorated, and well furnished. The kitchen is awesome with the modern appliances and complete furnishings. Also, the extra large balcony is a highlight. You can relax and enjoy a beautiful view of the ocean from the comfortable patio furniture. Sometimes you can see dolphins from the balcony. The location of the condo is perfect for traveling over to Destin and for going to the fishing pier which is very near. The teenage boys in our group loved fishing at the pier!
The only problem during the entire week was getting the beach chairs and umbrella which were furnished as part of the condo deal. You have to be out on the beach standing in line by 7 am if you want a spot near the water. If you go out later in the morning, there may be 3 or 4 rows of chairs, blocking any breeze and your view of the water. They have a rule prohibiting placing towels on the chairs to hold them, but the rule didn't seem to be enforced. We saw some angry people and arguments over chairs. That was way too much stress for vacation time! We ended up buying some cheap chairs to avoid using the condo chairs and umbrella which seemed like a shame. One of the guys working with the chairs was heard using extreme profanity when a vacationer gave him less tip than he was apparently expecting. I must also say that some of the guys working were really nice. We have stayed at the Azure in the past and the chairs were never a problem, but our stay this year was during a holiday week.
Other than the chair issue, our stay was great!!!! The condo was perfect! We would stay there again without hesitation!!!! -

This was our second stay at Azure and we were very pleased with both rooms and accomodations. It is nice to be far enough away from tourist traps and headaches. Beaches are awesome, traffic minimal, and not crowded.

My family and I stayed at this beautiful rental in May of 2008. The condo was absolutely gorgeous and had plenty of room for the whole family to stay. The two pools and hot tub were great for the adults and the kids had fun in the splash park. We were steps from the beach and very close to great dining and shopping. We have already made plans to return next year! I highly recommend Azure to any family!
