The condo was the perfect fit for an extended family weekend trip. It was very clean and well appointed. The fitness facitily was a nice bonus during. The condos proximity to the pool, beach, and other Destin attractions make it an appealing alternative to actually staying in Destin. My only disappointment is the pool wasn't heated. The daily temperatures in Florida during October are still very comfortable for enjoying the beach and sun but make the water a bit brisk. If you are wanting a heated pool that option isn't available until November.

This place was convenient in every way. Parking was great, beach was convienent and pool beautiful, especially at night. And the owner was very pleasant to plan with. Would recommend to anyone.

This unit is wonderful! It is beautiful and has everything you need for a stay at the beach! It was spacious for multiple adults and kids. We loved that it was steps away from the beach. The ground floor made it easy for loading, unloading or running back when you forgot something. It is a great location close to restaurants. They have extra beach chairs, beach toys and a kitchen stocked with gadgets! We loved how easy it was to stay here. We were fully relaxed and can't wait to go back!!!

My family absolutely loved this condo! All the comforts of home and a great location. The entire complex was beautiful and secure. We arrived early and office staff was nice, however I didn't receive a "unit ready" text until 7:30 pm, 3+ hours after check in time. Luckily the cleaning folks helped us out. An overall wonderful experience and hope to stay here again!

We recently had the pleasure of leaving arkansas for a week to enjoy the Gulf Coast at Fort Walton Beach. We stayed at Water's Edge #110 and was more than satisfied with our stay! The condo was fully furnished, even with a beach closet that included toys, chairs, sand castle toys, etc. The rooms were super clean & the kitchen was, well, it had everything a person needs, plus some!! We would definately stay at Water's Edge #110 again!!!

We had a great stay at Water's Edge Condos. The beaches are beautiful white sand and two beach chairs and umbrellas were provided. The condo was beautifully decorated with very comfortable furniture and beds. This was a ground level condo so the swimming pool is outside your back door. The covered parking was right outside the front door. Many restaurants close by and some within walking distance. I would highly recommend this condo and hope to come back again next year.

This was our 4th stay in this unit and it was just what we've come to expect. Clean and convenient. The unit is well-stocked to make you feel at home. The beds are super comfortable and the upgrades to the furniture and appliances make it an even better choice. We highly recommend this unit. We'll never stay anywhere else in the FWB/Destin area

I was able to check into our condo several hours earlier than expected. The condo was better than I reviewed on line. It was very clean, nice and spacious.. the atmosphere was a lot like home. Comfortable and convienant. The location to the beachfront was excellent, poolside patio was excellent as well. The area was great, many great restaurants and stores.. I would definitely rent this condo again next summer. If I had to say what I liked least, all I could say is I couldnt directly see the beach from the patio, but I could walk 20 feet and see it just fine. I would recommend this condo to anyone who has children, it was very family friendly... my children met many teenagers there age. There were many young familes with smaller children and the poolside access was fabulous.

We had a wonderful stay at the beach and the condo was perfect! This was our second year staying in this condo and it is the perfect location for us! The ground floor is a must with young children and made our stay so much easier! The kids loved the pool and I loved sitting on the patio and enjoying the view! We could not ask for more! We will definitely be back next year!

We stayed there with 4 adults and 3 children in range 2-11 yrs.. The condo is perfectly located at pool and beach which are well maintained. kids loved it. Well equipped including beach toys, coolers and chairs. Clean, up to date interior. Tv's in every room. Near shopping and dining places. Nights were quiet although this was Spring Break. Ample parking. On the negative side but minor, the beds were too soft for us and we could not get 2 of the 4 oven plates to work, the fitness center is not well equipped but overall we loved it and we will come back.

I loved the condo and room that we stayed in . The only complaint that I have, is the pool was freezing. This was our firts trip in October to the beach, the ocean was warmer than the pool! We asked to have the heaters turned on, but the response was they are not turned on until Thanksgiving. I think that needs to be rethought. When noone is in the pool, that's got to tell you it is too cold! We were under the impression, along with other guest there, that the pool would be heated. Thanksgiving is why too long to start heating the pools. The first of October needs to be when you start. Or at least when the guest start complaining about it or ask you to turn it on.

The condo was better than even the pictures described. The ground floor unit was great. No stairs to climb and able to walk right out to the beach and pool. The owner was great and easy to work with. I felt like she really wanted to make the stay nice for us. Southern Resorts was very good as well. We arrived a few minutes early and right after we arrived a lady from Southern Resorts came in to check to be sure everything was like it should be. She made sure all the lights had bulbs and the previous renters had not left anything behind. She looked around to be sure that it was clean like she expected it to be. I will definitely return here with our family.

The condo was beautiful but it needed better cleaning. When I saw how much we pay for the clean-up fee, I was shocked to see areas not cleaned. The early check-in fee is ridiculous, when you come in from another time zone. We traveled all night and weren't able to get in to condo until 5:00 our time. Crazy!!! The water was shut down throughout the building for hours a couple of times. (this was horrible, having no where else to go) Would have liked a reimbursement of some kind. We will probably rent again, but through condo owners and not Southern Resort!

Water's Edge #110 will be my first choice from here on out. The condo was equipped with everything we needed. It had easy access to the pool and beach. It really felt like home away from home with all the perks for a great vacation!

We stayed in this condo three years again and came back again because we enjoyed it so much the 1st time. The first floor location is great. No elevators/stairs to deal with which is great in dealing with children and luggage. The condo accommodated our family of seven comfortably. We were right across from the pool so our older children could play while we stayed by smaller, napping children in condo. Nicely furnsihed. All the convenieces of home. My only complaint was the swimming pool was supposed to be heated and be about 10 degrees above air temp. The pool was not close to being between 80-90 degrees which was disappointing. We would come back and stay again.

We arrived in Florida for our Fall Break on October 19 2009. After a very cold and rainy few weeks in Tennessee, we were ready for some sun and warmth. The condo at Waters Edge was just what we were looking for. My husband and I (mid 40's) arrived with our neice 29, our son 17, and two of our granddaughters 10 and 7. We had planned on doing nothing but just relaxing and enjoying the beach and pool, and we did just that. The condo was so lovely decorated and had everything we needed. Just across the bridge was a grocery store and we loaded the kitchen with food and snacks. It was so nice to be able to sit just outside on the patio and eat and watch the kids swim in the pool. It was a treat to be on the bottom floor. We could even see the ocean. This was by far one of the nicest condos we have stayed in and we will be returning.

The condo was beautiful. The location was also beautiful. The only negative thing I can say about this place was that I was surprised and a little put off that things like toilet paper, garbage bags,and mony other basic items were not supplied. I expected the basics.... I guess I should not have.

The condo complex was very neat and clean, the condo that we stayed in was excellent. Very convenient to the pool and beach since it was on the first floor. The beds were extremely comfortable. Had a problem in the bathroom one day and they came and fixed it right away. The beach on Okaloosa is beautiful white sand and beautiful water. The water was calm when we stayed so it almost was like the Caribbean waters very clear and beautiful blue. Nice that we could get 2 beach chairs and an umbrella that were included in our renters cost for the week, very convenient. We would have liked if the pool was open later since we were on vacation and they would close it at exactly 10:00 no exceptions. The condo manager was kind of annoying watching over everything that our group did, but also helpful when we had a beach party getting us a large table. Also the pool guy in the evening would just stand on the boardwalk and watch us which was annoying also, after all we were just adults having a good time on vacation and we rented a bunch of condo from you

This was our first visit to Okaloosa Island and although we ventured to Destin almost everyday, the location was perfect, very quiet and not crowded. This was our first vacation with all four of our kids, 3 under the age of 5, and except for the drive, the week couldn't have gone any smoother. The accomodations were clean and very well-kept. We all felt right at home. It was very convenient to be so close to the store if we needed something. We had a great time and can't wait to go back next year.

My younger brother's wife wanted us to all get together as a family. So we all joined in and gathered at Destin. The Family had chosen Water's Edge as the Place to be. I picked #110. The family still thinks I paid a whole lot more for our stay then they did. This rental has a touch of class that can come from an owner with class. We had 5 different rentals throughout the Water's Edge but everyone thought #110 was the best place to be. The Water's Edge was agreat place to visit. The only bad thing was the Beach umbrella attendants may not always be fair. But the real truth is wait until they set-up then it really is suppose to be first come first serve.
