Hurricane Policy. Deposits and/or rent paid will generally be refunded if Destin West Beach & Bay Resort is located within the Hurricane Warning Area set forth by the NOAA/National Hurricane Center. This was our first trip to the beach. The condo was exactly as it was described. Overall it was a great experience however since it was our first trip and staying in a condo there would have been some things that would've been helpful to know, such as bring paper towels, toilet paper, and condiments for food. I'm sure I could've found all of that kind information out had I looked on the Internet ahead of time but didn't think about it. That is really minor compared to the awesome experience we had though! Bill had great communication with us regarding the rental ahead of time, and I loved the section with his personal recommendations that was very helpful and we ended up eating at one of the restaurants he suggested. I really liked having a keyless entry for the condo so that I didn't have to keep track of a key. Thank you for opening your home to us - we had a wonderful time!

I cannot say enough great things about this place! It was perfect! We stayed here for a week during my 32nd birthday and I must say it was probably one of the best ways I've ever spent my birthday!
The condo was awesome. It was clean, nicely decorated (I loved the artwork), and had any and everything we could have ever needed during our stay. My son (age 8) stayed in the bunk room and thought it was the coolest thing in the world. He loved the bunk beds and having his very own television!
I could tell a lot of thought went into the condo and making sure guests had everything they need. This was my first time renting a condo at the beach and Bill made the experience wonderful! The packet of information that he provided before the trip was full of useful things and came in very handy!
The weather was beautiful the entire time we were there and I really enjoyed spending time sitting on the balcony and watching the ocean. The furniture on the balcony was fantastic and the tall chairs made for a great view!
The beach service that came with the condo was also very handy! It was so nice to be able to have a place every day already reserved for us so we didn't have to fight for a place in the sand.

Wow!!! What a wonderful 10 days. We were sooo happy with Gulfside 604. The condo was decorated with a tropical decor, clean, spacious and handy to the beach. The view was amazing. Enjoyed the beach service, and was within walking distance to several resturants and shops. We will diffently return and rent the same condo. Thanks again Jim & Beth Hamburger

Nice place. Was clean. Not a lot of Storage space,Especially for the bunk area. Kids loved the ability to access the Ramada next door and the Lazy River across the street. Easy access to pool and beach from this condo.

What a beautiful beach and beautiful home! Our family of four had a fabulous time while vacationing at this Destin West condo! It felt like home away from home. The condo is beautifully decorated, extremely neat and clean, very comfortable, and perfectly located on the beach. The pools were very nice and one of the highlights of the trip for our boys (ages 10 and 7). We visited during the month of October (2011) and had great weather. So convenient to have umbrellas and chairs waiting for you on the sand every morning. This area has so many nice restaurants to choose from. The kitchen is well stocked in the condo if you choose to cook any of your meals. The beds were really comfortable and bathrooms really nice. The bunkbeds were a big hit with our 7 year old. He even had his own television to watch from bed! We would highly recommend this condo and beach for vacation or a quick get away. The owners were extremely nice and easy to work with. We will be visiting Destin West again for sure!

We received first class service from the owner, who went above and beyond to make our vacation one of the best we've had in Ft. Walton Beach. They provide a wonderful information package before your arrival so you can plan your activities. The local air show with fireworks on Thursday nights in the Destin Harbor is one of our family favorites. The condo is beautifully decorated with all the amenities you could possibly want and the floor plan is great, especially the bunk room. All electronics are new and HD, which is great when traveling with children and gaming consoles! The condo is on the top (6th) floor closest to the ocean and the view is magnificent. We loved watching the dolphins while drinking coffee on the balcony.
