Our stay at the Pelican Isle was great! The view, the cleaness of the room, and the washer/dryer combo was one of the best we've ever seen. And too free Wifi :) The folks at Southern Resort were wonderful to work with. Very polite, knowledgeable and helpful.
The water was gorgeous. Clear and beautiful.
My husband and I disagreed on the mattress however. It was not firm enough for him, but it was for me. :)
Either way, we both had a great time and would stay there again. -

My family and I rented this condo for a week around Independence day. The unit was clean and well equiped and the complex as well kept. We especially liked the beach chairs and umbrella provided in the rental. My wife and I had never sat on the beach under an umbrella reading a book. It was Heavenly! The beach and water was great with only a couple of days with seaweed issues. Location was ok but it would be great if there were places to eat or shop within walking distance. We've stayed in Destin and the crowds and traffic make this location much more desireable. Overall, we would rent again!

We had a fabulous time! The condo was very clean, roomy and comfortable for our family of five, had a beautiful view, and was easily accessible to the beach. The chair and umbrella set up was an added bonus! The short drive to Destin was nice for eating out and shopping; however, we were pleasantly surprised to find good restaurants right there in Fort Walton. We will definitely be back!

Service was great,although we did request late check out 1:00 pm, however houskeeping must not have been informed because room inspector walked into our condo at 11:00.She was informed of our late check out, then 30 minutes later, house keeping knocked on door for cleaning. All turned out ok but could have been embarrassing situation. Loved everything about the condo. Would stay there again.
