Pelican Isle 415 - Toes in Sand is absolutely perfect and perfectly located. The weather was fantastic for a February weekend even though we are from alabama. We would definitely consider renting again and will recommend to others.

We had a wonderful time staying in this condo. The furnishings were great. Very clean and up to date! Cathy with RealJoy was great to work with. Oh, and most importantly, the view of the beach was amazing!

Awesome view from 4th floor balcony. Green water and gorgeous white sand although in February we just walked the beach for the few days when it was warm enough. But when the sun shined, it was very nice. Be sure to read the fine print of the rental agreement as only enough supplies for a few days are provided. If you plan to prepare any of your own meals you will need to bring almost everything such as salt, pepper, sugar, butter, salad dressing,d/w detergent, scrubbing pads, paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc. Add at least $20 for your initial outlay. It definitely not one of the rentals that say "just bring your tooth brush". Also, imagine how surprised we were to find that someone had entered our unit without our advance knowledge or consent. Despite our written request for reassurances that this would not recur, the rental agent never did assure us this would not happen again...and the rental agreement did not address this issue. Also, when we arrived we had been given the wrong code for the lock which inconvenienced us but was not a big issue as it only took about 15 minutes to get the correct code. Nevertheless, we were waiting around for no good reason until this was resolved. Read more
In reviewing the notes it looks like there was some sort of major communication errors on the guests part. Our FAQ clearly states that there are only supplies for the first day or two and no food items are supplied. Vacation condos are never "tooth brush only" places, that is a hotel.
Apparently you didn't see the parking pass instructions either and I suspect this is why your door code was wrong, reading errors or lack of preparation... Our call log notes specifically that the person on call informed you a parking pass would be delivered within 15 minutes to your condo - the lady on the phone said that you were leaving the condo and our staff member repeated TWICE that we would just leave the pass on the bar for you, both times we were told OK.
I think the big issue is that you didn't read and understand the processes ahead of time or understand that leaving a pass on the counter entails entering the condo when you told us you were leaving for dinner!

We had a great time. Very easy to find, great location. Condo was clean and the views from the balcony were fabulous. Right on beach, very quiet and convenient. Pool was right below bslcony so we could tell very readily if too crowded or perfect time to go swim or get in hot tub. Real joy was great to work with We would recommend this condo and look forward to vacation next year. Read more

This place was amazing. Clear view and quick access to the beach. Condo was clean and up to par. Had a bit of a parking garage issue, but that didn't ruin our stay at all as the parking garage was only needed to shield the heat, but there was none. Overall very satisfied with the way the RealJoy staff handled my stay and they were very courteous as well. Would definitely recommend. Read more

everything went perfectly. condo was clean, plenty of linens, not just an extra set like most others. plenty of toilet supplies. kitchen utensils were abundant. flat screen led tvs and blueray dvd, wireless internet worked great. furniture clean and no odor. walls clean, place dusted, extra trash bags, this place is very enjoyable. believe me I have stayed at pelican the last 6 years in many different units and this one ranks up at the top. the only draw back I found was the dryer needs new element in it. it dries very slow but this is simply maint. that all dryers require sooner or later, by no means did it take away from the unit. dealing with the folks at realjoy vacation was a pleasure and everything went smoothly and exactly as they said. I will definitely use them again. thank you for allowing us to book our vacation with you. ken Rhodes/ Lake Martin alabama... Roll tide ... oh, one last note, the only bad experience we had was eating at aJS... one big waste of time and money. do not believe what you read. Read more

Our stay in this condo was awesome. It was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. There was no "funky" smell and the bed was sooo comfortable that I didn't want to get out of it. I wish I knew what kind of mattress they had. We were able to relax and feel at home and be comfortable. I definitely stay there again!! Read more

We were here for the Memorial Day weekend. Everything was perfect. The condo was very clean and had everything you would need for your stay. Our family of 4 was very comfortable here. There are bunk beds recessed in the hallway which fit our 12 year old comfortably (some places we've stayed the bunk beds were quite small and would not accommodate a 5'5" person) and a pull out sofa in the living area. The condo is very spacious and inviting.
The beach was not overcrowded, even for a holiday weekend. The beach set up was an added bonus. It was great to just walk down have our chairs ready for us. We saw various fish, a few sea turtles, and even manta rays while in the water.
I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway! I look forward to our next stay!!! Read more
Thank you for your kind words - we think this unit is fantastic, too!

If you are looking for a place to stay right on the Gulf and plan to spend a lot of time at the beach with a significant other or with family, this rental may be for you! The unit is very clean and has updated furniture, two bathrooms, and a full kitchen. Also, the view is terrific! The property managers were easy to work with and we had no problems during our stay. The beach chairs and umbrellas were also a nice plus!
The location was good, one of many condos along this stretch of beach. There are many restaurants in the Fort Walton Beach area only a 1-2 miles away, or many more about 8-10 miles away in Destin. I would recommend exploring both areas during your stay! Read more
Thanks for taking the time to review - we'd love to work with you again!

Wonderful accomodations! Small hiccup on Sunday when aC would not turn on, but maintenance was out within an hour or two and fixed tbe problem. Beach umbrella and chairs made us feel like royalty, while every worker on the beach ( umbrella's, kayaks, paddle boards) were friendly and enjoyed engaging us in conversation. Read more

I spent a week at Pelican Isle with two of my children while my wife spent spring break with my senior class daughter in Panama City. The condo was spotless and had many amenities at our disposal. The pool and hot tub were fantastic and my kids loved spending hours a day enjoying the water. I have a chlorine allergy and didn't have one problem with the water. Most commercial pools over chlorinate forcing me to sit on the side in a chair. Not Pelican Isle, I was able to spend as much time in the water enjoying my kids. Activities were very close whether dining, go-karting, shopping or fishing. Easy to find something to do. I sent photos to my sister from the condo and she is planning on booking her next summer vacation there. Overall a great time was had by the three of us. Linen was clean and plentiful. Cookware and dishes were very nice. Would prefer non-stick pan for cooking other than scrambled eggs. Great beach access. Right outside the back door. What more could you ask for? I would definately recommend Pelican Isle for your next vacation.

We enjoyed staying at the condo and for the most part it met our needs, unfortunately my teen did not fit on the bunk beds and needed to sleep on the sofa-bed. The sofa and sofa-bed are worn out beyond repair.
We have stayed at Pelican Isle before and really like the location, beaches and chairs. Thanks!

We arrived at the Pelican Isle august 22 and had the most amazing time. The convenience of the condo to the beach, having chair service avaiable so that you could hang out and go back and forth made our trip! The beaches were perfect. No commercialism just families and couples out enjoying the beach and water. The water was so clear you could clearly see your feet at chest high water. We will definitly be back!! Read more

This vacation was just what we needed! We felt like we were in our home away from home. The whole rental experience was very easy. I like the "check in" and out with the keypad. For laundry, the washer/dryer were smaller than we expected so we ran out of pods faster due to the small loads. We also didn't realize to bring out own cleaning supplies, so we didn't have that either. The whole experience was great. It was nice to have WiFi and chairs and umbrella service each day. We would definitely come back!
Favorite part was the view from the balcony. Sat outside every c

The location was incredible. Short drive to the pier and Gulfarium area. The size of the condo was good with 5 adults and 1 child. The 2 bathrooms was great since we had 4 women. Really enjoyed having the elevator since we were on the 4th floor.
Only complaint was the sleeper sofa was horrible so we ended up sleeping on it as a sofa with the cushions on.
