Waters Edge Resort, unit 215 is a beautifully decorated single bedroom beachfront condominium that sleeps up to 6 family members. The master bedroom has a queen bed with a private bath. There are hallway bunk beds just outside the bedroom, and a queen sleeper sofa. The fully stocked kitchen offers everything you will need for a stay at the beach. The upscale decor, including granite countertops and tile floors, offers a luxurious feel to this perfectly located beach rental. Attractions such as go karts, putt-putt, and bungee jumping can be found in the heart of Destin. There is also a water park called Big Kahuna's located on Miracle Strip Pkwy. If you're feeling adventurous, you can take off on a jet ski, or parasail above the Emerald Coastline. Love fishing? Then you'll want to charter a half or full day of deep sea fishing on one of Destin's world famous fishing fleet. This is the world's luckiest fishing village, by the way.
Perhaps you are just wanting to get away from it all. Each Waters Edge Rentals resort has a private beach for your enjoyment. Beach chairs & umbrellas are available for rent, and are included in many Waters Edge Rentals packages. Every Waters Edge Rentals is ocean front and has a direct ocean view from a private balcony. Here, you'll find onsite tennis, heated pools, exercise facilities and more.
Okaloosa Island's fishing pier in Fort Walton Beach Fl is one of the area's original attractions. Built long before any Okaloosa Island Resort, this pier is perfect for taking the kids on an evening stroll. Rent a fishing rod or bring your own...you're sure to catch something exciting. The fishing pier is also perfect for dolphin watching. You can usually see a family wading nearby.
Want a closer look at the dolphins? Then check out Okaloosa Island's Gulfarium. This is the first wildlife viewing aquarium of its kind, and your kids will enjoy watching the dolphins, sea lions, seals, and many more aquatic attractions. With daily passes, you can enjoy the shows all day long with the purchase of each ticket.
Waters Edge Resorts also offers quick access to the Fort Walton Beach Convention Center, otherwise known as the Emerald Coast Convention Center. Located on Okaloosa Island, this convention center is the main hub for many events such as conventions, meetings, receptions, etc. You'll be within minutes of the Emerald Coast Convention Center from any of our Waters Edge Rentals.
Did we mention shopping? Waters Edge Rentals puts you in the mix of dozens of shopping malls. Destin Commons, among others is good for a day or evening of outdoor retail shopping. Kids will enjoy the courtyard water fountain (bring a bathing suit) as well as the train ride through the streets. The adults and teens will enjoy hours of shopping in major designer brand stores, and there's even a Bass Pro Shops here.
After a day of fun in the sun, you may want to enjoy one of Okaloosa Island's seafood restaurants. Many of these are dockside with an atmosphere that you just can't get anywhere else. Waters Edge Rentals is the only choice that offers sunset, outdoor dining at many reputable restaurants along the emerald coast. Dine on the Destin Harbor, and watch the fishing charters troll in from a day on the sea. After dinner, you can walk the docks of Destin and watch as the day's catch is cleaned and boats are readied for the next outing.
