We were very happy with the location of the condo and the accommodations were most suitable. The kitchen was adequately furnished and the bedrooms and baths were most acceptable. The service prior to arriving was good with e-mails to direct us and prompt notifications about payments and other info.

Loved the location,view,and size of the condo. There were new spreads on the beds whcih was nice. The response from the maintenance people was very good when we had a toilet stop up and a two sinks that drained slowly.
There was a broken plastic fork and sand/dust under the rug in the den, otherwise the condo was clean.
The den furniture has not been updated since we first started coming five years ago and although they had been cleaned (still wet when we arrived)the couches really need replaced.Response from Southern Vacation Rentals - 08/28/2012

Our family of 8 enjoyed our recent stay in Sea Dunes 404! The balcony was wonderful & we especially liked that we could look down & see our kids playing in the pool. The views of the beach are amazing - being a corner unit you can see so far down the beach. We found the condo to be clean although the we did not latch the balcony door when we closed it but a new door was on order. We would definately stay here again.

My family and I went down to stay at Sea Dunes #404 we arrived to find that the balcony doors were broken including the glass beside the door.My husband played with the door until he was able to get it opened.Then we went out on the balcony to see the view.My little one not knowing not to shut the door shuts the door getting us stuck out on the balcony.My husband played around with the door and gets it back open.Had that just been me or my elderly aunt or my kids that got locked out on that balcony we would not have been able to get back inside. I then called down to Southern Resorts about the door and all the dog hair all over the bed.They said that they would send someone out about the door and someone to get us some different bedding.The bedding was handled but the door was never handled.Nobody ever came to service it and we was informed that this was a known problem that should have been disclosed with us prior to booking the unit.I was told that management would call me that never happen.The first night of stay my girls informed me that their bed was broken and made it hard to sleep.So my husband said just wait for the manager to call you and let them know of this also.After returning home I called and complained that I never got a call back about this matter while we was there.Then I get a call and told that I will get a $100.00 credit back on my debit card.I said you know what that is not good enough and I was told that the owner of the property would be contacted to see what else could be done above the $100.00 credit.The next day I got a call that they was going to give us a 2 day stay on a return visit on them in a 3 bed 3 bath unit and that I would receive all that in the mail in a few days.Never happened.This is no way to run a business that property should not have been rented out under those conditions and to find out that this has been like this for a really long time shows that they don't care that something like this happens.

We leased this unit for the last three years. First it was great and each year the interior has declined, especially the living room and bedroom furniture. This year the coach and loveseat were very dirty and the entire property was not very well maintained. It is definitely time to remodel. We love the location and wish to continue our yearly stay but hope upgrades are made.

Condo was very nice and had lots of room for 6 adults.Impressed that kichen was well stocked.Big plus having 3 Private Baths/ Bedrooms.Loved the roomy balcony with the awesome views.Southern Resorts Personnel were wonderful.Condo convenient to restaurants and stores.We will stay here again !! Great Vacation Week..

We had a wonderful weekend with plenty of room in this spacious condo. We had 7 adults and had plenty of room in this 3 BR 3 Bath. We visit Okoloosa Island every april - my husband plays in an annual golf tournament in Destin. I chose this condo because of the balcony, its an end unit that wraps around giving you more room and the view is breath taking. We will definitely pick this condo again!!

This condo is beautiful and so easy to enjoy staying in. We liked the extra light and views from the corner location. Everything we could need was there. Even tho it's a bit pricier than other condos we've stayed in, it's worth it if you want nice, bright, convenient, and pampering. The only issue we had was the internet never worked even after phone calls and trips to Southern Resorts for help.

We have been coming to Okaloosa Island for the past three years in October. Sea Dunes is a great place to stay. We love that we can look out the balcony in the early morning hours and view the ocean. We saw a pod of dolphins only once this time but last year we saw several pods each morning. We love the beach service of the umbrella and the chairs. We are at the ocean in about 5 seconds from the front door to the beach. The pool and hot tub are awesome for when you get tired of the beach.
Sea Dunes is the best place we have ever stayed. The kids love it and the beds are comfortable. -

The condo was everything we expected. Well cleaned and taken care of. There
were a few small issues (lights/fan not working) but they were taken care of
very quickly. My only complaint would be that there could be a few more
cleaning supplies. We ran out of trash bags and dishwasher soap after 3 or 4
days and had to buy some. But even that was no big deal because we've stayed
at condos before that didn't supply any cleaning supplies and we had to
furnish all of our own. Overall our experience was great and we look forward
to dealing with Southern Resorts again in the future. -

We felt the condo would suit our needs from the pictures and descriptions on the website but was pleasantly surprised that the website did not do it justice! This was our fourth stay in Fort Walton Beach and would recommend staying in this condo! We had plenty of room and the washer and dryer were full size and in great condition. Not the stackable kind in most condo's. We loved having the beach service and that the condo was close to restaurants (Old Bay Steamers & Pandora's, YUM!)and shops!
The keyless entry on the condo was great! We came in afterhours and it worked beautifully! -

This was the perfect place for our extended family, since each bedroom has its own full bath. The condo was spacious, tastefully decorated and in great condition. Being a corner unit, the views from the inside and on the balcony are spectacular.
The bedroom behind the kitchen was cold while the others were good/warm, so make adjustments for that. The master bedroom and bathroom (with jacuzzi tub) were huge and the bedroom had a separate door to the balcony, which was nice.
The amount of supplied items like soap, towels, etc. was fine. If you plan to do a lot of laundry, though, you might bring more detergent. I didn't think to bring Saran wrap, foil and plastic baggies; you'll need to bring those.
Fort Walton Beach is a low-key, family town with beautiful white, sugar fine sand (and good food)! -

My family stayed in this condo during the week of my son's spring break and it was wonderful. I wanted to stay away from the large teen crowds and this was definitely the place to do that. The condo was very nice and clean and we had a wonderful view of the beautiful blue ocean. The condo has everything you will need except food of course. But there is a Publix grocery store and great restaurants close by so good food is not hard to find. My family and I felt very safe and will return again soon. Thanks again!

I was lucky enough to win the stay from a raffle ticket bought at the Relay for Life (April 2008) from the Niceville High School Team. It was in celebration of all female family and friends. We had a great girl weekend. The condo was stylish and very much to all of our liking. The staff on duty were gracious and the gulf view tremendous. As locals we rarely get to enjoy enough time at the beach together. I would suggest this facility as an option for us again.
The only downside was the fact that we didn't have music. We used the TV as an alternate music source but I'm told we could have used the computers as a Cd player. Thanks again, E.Hoffman and friends. -

We had a great time. The gulf was very rough but that's the chance you take in Fla. We didn't care for the style of furnishings but that was not a problem. The glass was broken in the stationary part of the door. I reported it when we checked in. No one came to check on it. The unit was clean and well equipped. The location is very good. We had plenty of room and enjoyed our stay very much. We will go back again.

The condo was abolutely much better in person than we anticipated, even from what the online pics show! Our stay was in mid August and the complex was only about half full, so parking was great and the beach wasn't crowded at all.

Me, my son, daughter-in-law. two grandkids (faith & sadie) stayed a week here. This was one of the best condos we have ever stayed in. The size of the place was great. Close to the beach, close to every thing. The only negative part was we drove 8 hours and had to wait 3 more hours for a locksmith to fix the door key code lock so we could get in. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone. I hope to be able to get it for next year
