Our condo was great - updated, clean, and in spite of a group of eight, spacious. We stayed on the fifth floor (with a great view) and we chose to take the stairs up and down every time and it didn't kill us. Check out couldn't have been easier. If we make it back to Ft. Walton we'll definitely stay at Waterscape.

The service was great thanks to Jetty. The accommodations were very nice. The location was ideal. We enjoyed the pools and the lazy river. It is hard to say what we enjoyed the most. All and all it was a very good experience.

My family has stayed at 510 a for 3 years now...skipped one year because I had just had b/g twins and they were too young to travel. This year we went, along came my parents, husband, and our three kids (ages 4 yo boy; b/g twins 2 yo). We've stayed in the exact condo due to its wonderful view of the ocean and pools, plus its nice interior. However, my complaints this year include: Queen size bed had multiple tears in the bed spread, the room's door to the balcony, and it's door to this room from the living room would not lock, and the outside porch light did not work. I will say there was a mix up with our late check out that they waived, which was nice. All in all it's a great room with a nice view; however, the management may have changed or the damage could have been done by the family that just left before us, so maybe they didn't have time to fix the issues mentioned. If the issues are fixed by the time we're ready to go on vacation next year, we'd stay again...otherwise, I think I'd check around and look for a condo that is well kept up and managed. :)

We had a wonderful time , view is excellent!, my two kids loved the lazy river and the swimming pools, also the hot tub, personally I loved the grill by the swimming pool it was very convenient, 510a is the best!

My family of 5 just returned from our annual beach vacation and I have to say it was absolutely perfect! Everything with Southern Vacations was very smooth and easy. From the initial inquiry to the booking to the detailed check in instructions, the keyless entry, the information binder in the condo and of course the free-bees that you get from Souther Perks were great too! Waterscape is by far the best place to stay with kiddos. The pools are resort like and a total paradise for my 3 and 7 year olds. I loved that there were clean restrooms near by! The grounds are very well kept, staff is extremely friendly and the onsite movie rental boxes were a huge hit for the family too. The beach was heavenly! Not too crowded as we went the first week of May. The (free) beach chair service was wonderful as well. My husband tipped the chair girl "Lauren" to reserve a front and center set up for the week and it worked out impeccably. The very close, convenient beach access even allowed my 86 year old, blind grandfather to join us on the beach a couple of days. Overall, our experience with Southern Vacations and our stay at Waterscape was abosutely Perfect! We will be back again!

The condo itself was great! For overlooking pools, view to beach was still good. This condo. is beautifully decorated with very nice furniture comfortable to spend time in. Beds very comfortable. It was the cleanest condo we have ever rented. Love the keyless entry. Had a problem with early check-in because condo wasn't ready-early check in fee was refunded promptly. Beach chair situation was horrible. To get a front or second row chair you must get in line by 7:30 for a 9:00 take off(by 8:00 fifty people in line)Their are two sides (left and right) and the two employees run each side differenly and are inconsistent with how they give out chairs. Some days it's a mad dash and you sprint as fast as you can when they call open. Some people cheat and put towels on the front chairs and go back to their units while everyone else waits in line and the attendants do nothing about it. So, it's hard to be a nice and honest guy because you get cheated. I don't like to pay over $2000 for a beach condo to get up early to get a spot for our family beach day. We went with other families and didn't get chairs next to each other sometimes given the chaos.
If you are going to stay at this complex this is a fabulous unit but beach chair situation very bad.

The resort is fantastic for a family with multiple children of various ages. We have four ranging from 10-2yrs old. Everyone had something to keep them busy and excited! Service was great and the rooms were clean and comfy! My children want to book it again for next summer! Highly recommend Waterscape!

Waterscape was a very nice resort and the condo was comfortable and up-to-date. Condo was decorated nicely and the beds were very comfortable. Upon arrival we noticed that the floors seemed sticky and when we looked closer they were not cleaned at all. Also, we noticed the next day that there was no skillet to be found in the condo which made cooking difficult. We contacted the management and they brought one that day. However, it was so cheap and small that the bacon we tried to make was hanging over the sides and actually stuck to the skillet. I'm not even sure how that happens. Overall, it was a great resort and condo. Our only complaints were with the overall housekeeping and missing inventory of the unit.

The condo was absolutely georgeous and extremely clean. The auto check-in and key pad door access was very convenient. We didn't have to worry about misplacing our keys or waiting in line to check-in, etc. Our seven year old daughter really enjoyed the pools and the many extra activities. Also, the beach chairs and umbrella that came with the condo was a real plus!

The cleaning service needs to clean the maser shower better. There was a lot of mold quite disgusting.
My overall opinion besides that. This is a great place to bring your family. We were there with a large dance company and all the kids enjoyed themselves. The pool needs to be kept open until at least 11:00pm, this is a vacation spot after all. -

The condo was decorated beautifully and was very clean. We loved the keyless entry feature. It was great not having to worry about a key card getting lost or having to check in and out at the desk. We really enjoyed our beach trip and would definitely stay here again. This is our 3rd time staying at Waterscape and we will surely be back!

The tropical atmosphere at Waterscape is definitely one of it's most positive attributes. The pools are some of the cleanest I have ever witnessed and the grounds were kept beautifully. The only negative comment that I have is that the beach attendants have to be the rudest on Okaloosa Island. My few encounters with them were detrimental at best. The condo was not the cleanest upon arrival but when I called maintenance, they had someone there the next day to clean it again.The condo is beautifully decorated, the beds are comfortable and it is just lovely.

It was the perfect spot for all of us. The location in the building was great. Close to the elevator to go down to the pool and beach. The kids really enjoyed the pool area. Having beach service was the best part. We would booked this one again.

Your staff at Southern Resorts was terrific to deal with and very accomodating during our entire stay.
The Waterscape Resort is a perfect place to take the family with it's many kid friendly pools, the lazy river and the great beach access. My two boys (ages 5 & 2) especially loved playing in the kids pool with the water slide and sprayers.
We definitely plan on visiting every year for many years to come.

This is a great condo! It's beautifully decorated and has a stunning view. Waterscape is a great place to vacation, especially if you have kids who like to swim and go to the beach. It's got the best of both worlds because the beach is close, but when you get tired of the sun and sand, you can then go to the pool for a little swim to cool down and rinse off. There are pools for kids and playing and there are pools for those who like a quieter swim without all the stimulation that some pools have and hot tubs for warming up when the sun goes down. We had a great week!

Well, I wish I could say this was a horrible place to stay so that it would always be available for me and my family, but I won't do that. :) It was awesome. 510A had the best view of both the pool and ocean and was large enough for four adults and our 18 month old to run around and have fun. The beds were so comfortable, I miss them already. It is a very well kept condo and when my family returns to Florida we intend on vacationing in this same spot...like I said...Perfect!

I must say overall, our experience with using Southern Resorts for the first time as well as staying at Waterscape was great. Everyone was very helpful and curteous. The condo was very clean and the pools were awesome for my 2 and 6 year old boys. We will definitely use Southern Resorts for our next years vacation and hopefully can stay at Waterscape again.

Waterscape is a wonderful place that the entire family can enjoy. The condo was very spacious and clean. We had 4 adults and 3 children and it was a very comfortable stay for a week. We were really surprised to find 2 huge bathrooms! The pools were great for all ages. We have 3 children (10, 4 & 8 mos) and the pools accomated all of us. The kids LOVED all the activities that Waterscape offered. Movies by the pool were a big hit, especially since we could watch from our balcony. They even had a parents night out one night for ages 5 and up! The beach was clean and very nice to have beach service. We will definitely be returning for many years to come!

The location is wonderful, the view was awesome and the beach is just steps away. I loved being able to sit up on the balcony (while my toddler napped in the bedroom) and watch my older kids play in the pool. Unit 510A has a great central location with a great view of the beautiful Gulf waters and white sand and it's also right in the middle of the pool area. The unit was perfect, beautifully decorated and the beds were quite possibly the most comofortable I have ever slept in. We had all we needed and more. The kids had a blast, it was a nice low key relaxing vacation for us and we will be back for sure!

We loved the condo (510A)! We had a great view of the ocean and the pools. There was stairs with pool access as soon as you walked out of the condo, so that was great. There was also an elevator access not too far from our door.
Two nights while we were there, the resort showed a movie at the pool. We had a great view of the screen from our balcony. Our kids loved it!
Everything was very clean! The only thing that was annoying was that you have to have a wrist band on from your rental agency when you are at the pool. You cannot adjust the wrist bands once they are set, so if you didn't set them big enough, you have them on the whole trip or buy another one.
We loved this resort and particularly this condo! We are already thinking about renting it again for next summer. -

Waterscape is a fabulous resort on a beautiful beach. The week beagn a bit chilly, but you never know in Ft. Walton in April! 510A is a beautifully furnished unit with very comfortable beds and large bathrooms.

We absolutely loved Waterscape. The pool area was unbeatable - the kids and adults all had a blast. The room was in really good condition and decorated nicely. We especially loved the very spacious bathrooms and also, that we could view the Friday night movie at the pool from our balcony!

This resort was beautiful and very well maintenanced. It would be perfect for families with young children. We were all older and still had fun playing on the rope and the waterfall. The view from the pictures doesn't represent the view that well. We actually had a gorgeous view. There was a lot to do around the resort and Destin was just a few miles away with great shopping. The bedrooms were very nice with very comfortable beds and all the appliances were top of the line. The bathrooms were very spacious and had large walk-in showers and tubs. This was a very nice property to stay at and I highly recommend it to anyone young or old. We had a blast other than hurricane Ike effects. There is also a lazy river. I didn't remember seeing that in any photos.

We just returned from a weeks visit at Waterscape in Fort Walton Beach. We have visited the area several times before, but this was our first stay at Waterscape since it has just opened this year. It definitely will not be our last.
The resort was wonderful in every way. The room was decorated beautifully with upscale furniture and the view was absolutely gorgeous. I was worried about not having a good view of the ocean, but we had the best of both - ocean and pool area. The condo was very spacious, especially the bathrooms. The kitchen was a little small, but still very accomodating -very nice with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The beds were so comfortable, but the beach made it worth getting out of bed for. The pool area, with lazy river, 2 kid pool play areas, and another (heated) pool were a hit for our whole bunch especially the 3 kids. My only complaint was that all the pools were not heated. The kids didn't seem to mind too much, but it would have been nice if they all were. The whole pool area was beautifully landscaped and was very pretty at night. Beach access was a very short distance, but more than enough beach available. There is no property to the left so there was plenty of beach without the crowds.
Absolutely loved the entire place. Wish we could have stayed longer than a week. Already looking forward to our next visit.... -

Waterscape is beautiful! The resort is great for families with kids of all ages. Condo #510 was very nice. It had everything we needed, was nicely furnished and had a nice view of the ocean. Loved that this area is less crowded then Destin.

Waterscape 510A was absolutely the most comfortable and rlaxing place my family has stayed in to date. Everything you could possibly want to do is such a short distance. The room was beautiful and very clean! THE MOST COMFORTABLE mattress I have ever slept on in a "hotel" atmosphere by far. I would recommend this room to anyone. Thanks Waterscape, you made our family vacation the best one so far! We will definately be back!
