The location and view was great and jillian the receptionist was the kindest person very caring and great to deal with. We had some bad experiences because there was a huge mistake with someone else mistakenly staying in our condo due to a mixup on our arrival.We had to wait an hour and a half for this to be resolved and thus had to stay in another location that night. I believe they need a more secured method of retrieving keys. The heating in the emergency unit we had to stay in on our first night was broken and the elevator in the unit we rented was NOT working the entire time we were there thus going up and down 6 floors was the worst part of our trip although we were told it would be fixed the next morning. Overall the the decor was nice but there were missing amenities and some were old. We did enjoy and love the view from our condo and overall nice stay due to management working with us to ensure we could be happier.

The condo itself was really nice, and we had a very nice time. Our only problem was that the elevator was broken when we got ready to leave. This caused us to be 3 hours late getting home. I read on the rental agreement that if checking out late was our fault, we would owe more money. Wouldn't this be reciprocal, and we would get a refund?

Beautiful beaches, lovely views. You can't go wrong with the beaches of Ft Walton Beach anytime of year. Check in was easy; the staff pleaseant. The condo was is very nicely deorated and was pretty clean, but it had a fusty smell that never seem to go even when the air/heat was on. For being a penthouse with a penthouse cost I would have liked to seen the kitchen stocked with more pots and pans and cooking utensils. I was a little sparse. Overall enjoyed our visit!

This condo is a wonderful place to stay in Ft. Walton Beach. Beautiful views and lots of room. Beautifully appointed; love the balcony! The only issue is the general cleanliness of the condo. The ceiling has large amounts of dust spreading out from the fans and A/C vent, the fake greenery is dusty, the bedroom carpets are very dirty, baseboards need cleaning, floor near the entertainment cabinet is dirty, and the walls have condensation streaks ( especially near the kitchen A/C vent and the master bath). The master tub still had sand in the bottom that we wiped out. This would have been a 5 star stay had the general cleanliness issues not been so apparent. These are easily addressed, and we highly recommend this location.

Everything was so lovely. The only complain was the elevator was not working from the time we arrived until the time we left. This was so inconvenience for me and my guest (whom more were heavy females)it really limited our outside activity, but at the end of the day the trip was very nice. Thanks for the stay! The condo was everything we had imagined it would be & more. There was 8 of us & more than enough room. Was very impressed with the master bedroom & the view was awesome. We will definately be booking here again in the near future. We hated to have to come back home.

This unit is perfect for a large group of people or for 2 families that are vacationing together. The kitchen is very large and set up for cooking for the masses. The kids bunk room was perfect for the little ones w/ a tv/dvd and movies already in the room. The only issues we had were that the dryer was very slow to dry towels and that the ice maker did not work (there were trays avaliable though). The bathrooms were clean, but needed a "bleaching". All in all, we would rent again and recommend to others

This stay was our best ever. The "penthouse" was everything our group of 10 could hope for. From the location to the view to the little perks of plenty of towels for everyone, this had it all. We would highly recommend this destination for a family getaway.

Let me start by saying we had a great time and really enjoyed the space this penthouse provided. The management staff was very professional and had everything organized when we checked-in. We did encounter a few things that could be fixed or done better. For example, the sliding glass door handle came off; one of the chairs around the table was broke; the master bedroom fan made a lot of noise; and the master bathroom shower could have been cleaned better (mold build up in one of the corners).

We really enjoyed our stay in this unit. The reservation process was super easy. No problems during our stay. Unit was uniquely decorated. View of the ocean was perfect. We saw dolphins off the balcony on more than one occasion. Would highly recommend this unit. Thanks for a great vacation!!

I love visiting Ft. Walton Beach and the location is beautiful. This particular unit was not as nice as others I have visited (stains in carpet and only side access to beach). The size was perfect for 10 guests and the bathroom in the kids room was also nice.

I rented this as a surprise for my husbands mid tour leave from Afghanistan. It was the first time my husband, our 7 month old daughter, and I were all united. The location was amazing to spend a morning on the beach, and go to dinner in the city. The
condo itself was fully equipped and amazingly beautiful! We plan to stay again for longer when be come home from Afghanistan for good. -

The condo was beautiful! More room than we needed for the two of us..but we enjoyed the extra space. Awesome view!!! The beach was nice,except for a seaweed problem. The condo was undated and nicely furnished. The only problem we had was after a hard rain
one night the master bath ceiling was leaking and we had to clean up water from the floor. We reported it and hopefully it will be resolved. All in all a very nice trip! -

Our penthouse wasn't as clean as I remember it 4 years ago. Smelly refrigerator, floors and bathroom not real clean. I realize its hard to keep places spotless but I think cleanliness is the most important when renting. When I called maintenance they were there immediately for the jet tub and we fixed the fish smell in our refrigerator with baking soda, tht should have been done before we arrived. All in all in was a great vacation. Staff in the office, maintenance, beach boy, etc. couldn't have been any nicer.

The condo was beautiful and we all loved it. It had plenty of room for ten people. The pictures did not do it justice. The pool was a little small but we did not go for the pool. The elevator was very hot and slow. Other than that we loved the location, view and condo.

This is the 3rd year we've stayed in this same room and the jacuzzi in the master bedroom didn't work either of those times. This year, I called & left a voicemail at the office but no-one returned my call nor sent anyone to repair it...pretty disapponted. Overall we enjoyed our stay despite this one issue.

The penthouse was absolutely terrific! Lots of room for my husband, our kids and my parents. Bedrooms are spaced out so no noise from kids' t.v.s, etc. to bother the other bedrooms. Kitchen is stocked with all utensils you will need. Beautiful views from master bedroom, kitchen/dining/living rooms. Make sure to bring your own detergents for dishwasher and laundry. Each of the 4 bathrooms is stocked with two rolls of TP. Plenty of towels, etc. There are also two roll away beds tucked away in the closets and a small fold out bed in the sofa in bedroom #2. Can comfortably sleep 11-12 people. Absolutely the perfect place to stay when on a family vacation!

I loved the furniture, the kitchen and all the space. The four bathrooms were more than enough to accommodate 8 people. The view was phenomenal and the huge porch was convienient with all the people that we brought. I loved that the master bedroom had a big sliding door that we could keep open to the ocean. The shower in the master could've easily fit 6 ppl! The only things that we didn't like were that the DVD player in the Master bedrm didn't work and the jacuzzi tub didn't have hot water. Come to find out the pipes were crossed but we didn't find this out till we left. :/

The condo was even better looking than the pictures show. It was big and comfortable. The view was great. The only bad thing about the trip was the thick seaweed in the water. The beach was gorgous and the restaurants were great (*Trap, Dewey Destins, Back Porch). Had a wonderful time and will definitly go back.

There are some water issues in the bathrooms. Some faucets are reversed(hot & cold)& water pressure in showers is minimal. The sofas in living room do not convert to sleepers as described but there is a small rollway bed.

The only thing I would have to complain about would be the elevator. Each year I have had a complaint about it, nothing to keep me from coming but last year it broke down and this year it was so hot inside that you couldn't hardly breathe. I think this should be something checked in to. I know it's used a lot but to make things more comfortable for the guests who pay to stay there would be a great thing!

We really loved ETW 2006, the condo was set up perfectly for families. Bedrooms were all separated. The condo was beautiful and had a large patio to watch the dolphins. Large kitchen. Ther is only one pool (in the parking lot, not an ideal location), but it was refreshing! We love Okal.Island-so family friendly! Just a 10 minutes drive to Destin. Brooks & Shorey personnel are friendly and heplful. Thanks again for another great vacation!!

We had our first family vacation to the beach at Emerald Towers West. The location was perfect and the room was immaculate. The staff was helpful when needed, which wasn't often. The building is not too large so, crowding was never a problem. I highly recommend this condo to anyone.

We have rented this condo two years in a row, and found it to be a very good arrangement for two families sharing space. Furniture was solid and comfortable, and community areas were spacious and allowed evening and meal times to be relaxed and memorable. Management company was helpful and responsive to all our needs. Great experience!
