This was our first vacation to Fort Walton beach, but will not be our last. We loved the condo. The condo was very clean, the furniture was comfy, the kitchen was well stocked, and the view from the balcony was priceless.

The location is close enough to Destin to be very convenient, but out of the traffic. The property was clean and well maintained, and Unit 613 was up to date, well equipped and very comfortable for me and my family.

This is our 6th year in IP613 and totally satisfied. Owners do an awesome job of keeping it current and comfortable, we are very lucky to have opportunity to stay here. Every year we have a new surprise. Unit was very clean on arrival....the floors exceptional. Not sure if artificial flowers are a requirement but they are just too much, too dirty and dusty. The fewer the better! The only thing we don't have is push button entry which woud be so nice to not have to track keys!
Overall our stay was awesome, thanks again to owners, and B&S; is great rental agency. Any requests are answered and Aiken care of immediately. Looking forward to our exit winter 2014. THANK YOU! -

Communication during the reservation process was easy, check-in and check-out were a breeze, and the location could not be beat! The only hiccup was a miscommunication in wireless internet network name and password, but the issue was easily resolved. I will recommend this location/company to friends in the future.

This was our first time to stay at Island Princess #613. We were impressed with the cleanliness and beautiful decorating(i.e, granite and stainless steel, new paint, etc.). We, in the past, have stayed at another complex on the island; however, all agreed to need to come back to Island Princess #613. Wonderful Unit + Wonderful weather = A perfecat vaction!

Brooks and Shorey personnel were wonderful upon check-in and check-out. Everything went very smoothly. The condo looked just like the pictures shown on the website. Very nicely decorated, clean, great view of the ocean. Fort Walton/Destin beaches are beautiful. Since this was our first visit to the area, our only concern was being able to find restaurants. We would highly recommend Brooks and Shorey and the Island Princess to our friends and family.

Great condo with very modern up-to-date decor and appliances. The only small issue was the password for the wireless. It wasnt the one given on the instructions but the one listed on the bottom of the modem itself. Cant live without internet. No issue with the elevators since there are 3 of them anyhow. I liked the covered parking garage since it would keep your vehicle from getting hot in the sun. This unit is larger in width then most of the condos we have stayed at in the past. Wish we could have brought the dogs. We would definetly consider this place again in the future.

We were moved to this unit(613) after an explosion in the unit above us (508) forced my family to evacuate from our other unit (408). Our original unit was rented from another agency, but Brooks and Shorey treated us very well, having the new unit cleaned and ready in VERY short order. Wish we had rented with you in the first place!
Thanks again for the thoughtful gift basket you gave me when I picked up my keys. Evey(spelling) in your office was very nice to deal with.

This is the second time we've been to Fort Walton Beach. We stayed in another property last time. This room has a balcony that looks out over the beach, which was nice. The elevator was slow, but that seems fairly common. We did have a couple of issues, but they were resolved right away. The only thing we may have liked different would have been two beds in the 2nd bedroom, but it all worked out. Great place to stay!

Overall we have been satisfied with stays with them. However, when we checked in on Sunday we were told that the washing machine was broke and not to use it. Repairman finally made it on late Monday. Told the drum had a hole in it. They needed to get with owner of unit. Contacted them on Tuesday and was told it probably would not be fixed during our week stay. Finally got through to Mr. Shorey. He said out of our control. However, if I wanted to take my laundry to some laundry place a few miles away they would reimburse me for my expenses. Not the right answer. Should have brought a new washing machine in the unit. This is enough for me to switch to Dale Peterson to rent next year - plus the unit was not all that clean. Expected more.

This guest checked in on Sunday afternoon and we had the repairman in the condo on Monday as the guest stated as the repair service is not open on weekends. Unfortunately, the washer could not be repaired on the spot and since it was still under warranty, we had to wait for the company to send someone out to repair it and bring the replacement parts. When the guest spoke to Mr. Shorey - the owner of the company - Mr. Shorey offered to have someone from his personal dry cleaning company to come over and pick up the dirty laundry, wash -dry-fold -and deliver to the condo at Mr. Shorey's expense. As all condos are individually owned, Brooks and Shorey Resorts do not keep new appliances in stock, neither does any management company. This was just an unfortunate event that was truly out of our control and we believe we did everything we could to make this guest happy. Anyhow, the washer has been fixed and is in working order at this time.

Internet would not work, and the washing machine was down most of the week. I placed a call in on both, but nobody came for the Internet.
Overall the condo is top notch. Everything in the condo was well thought out, and had a nice designed. The master bed with the tempurpedic was very comfortable.
I would stay there again. -

Condo and view were perfect. Nice pool and beautiful beach and water. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. 2 things I would change: cleaning service did a poor job of cleaning the floors. They looked clean, but our feet were black after walking around the condo barefoot for 10 mins, after that we kept our shoes on all the time. Beach setup service was nice and staff was friendly. Would be great to add some beach chaises that recline in a flat position.

Island Princess was a great place to spend Spring Break with our family. The beach is beautiful. The condo was close to restauraunts, shopping, & activities, but was not located in all the traffic. Our condo was very nice & the service was great. We would definitely recommend it to our family & friends. We hope to return there in the future.

We were very pleased with everything except I picked a place the had wifi so my husband could keep up with the scores and players for the basketball play-off game he has run for the last 18 years. we were given a pass word that would not work on his I-pad or my kindle. We had to wait from Fri to Monday after calling the help numbers on the paper given to us. The person answering the # called said he no longer work for them. We got a new pass word from the office and found it also typed the wifi box it stilled did not work. This was annoying, but the officxe did try to help we just gave up. other than that The place was great and we had a great time.

We've been coming to the IP for 12 years and this was one of the niceset units we have been in. Decorating was tasteful, kitchen was the best equipped and very clean compared to some others. Only one problem with a soiled bedspread and it as taken care of immediately by a very professional and friendly young lady from the cleaning service. Our friends from other units were envious of the quality and cleanliness of our unit. Thanks to the owners and Eva from Brooks and Shorey for a lovely vacation. Hope to stay in this unit again next year

This was my husband & my first condo rental & won't be our last. Island Princess 613 was an amazing place to stay. The views were amazing! All the rooms were clean & there was plenty of space. The kitchen had everything we needed & it was great to have a full size fridge! We enjoyed every second of our stay, it was hard to leave! I'd stay in that condo again, in a heart beat! Clean, cozy & felt like home away from home :)

This was our 3rd time visiting Fort Walton Beach. We absolutely love it here! We have stayed at the Island Princess each time. This unit, 613, is our favorite by far. Beautiful decor and the bed was by far the most comfortable. The kitchen was updated and a pleasure to use. We will definately choose this unit for our next trip! Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. My husband drove to Florida and arrived a day early. The staff was able to let him in the extra day and he was very pleased.

This is our 5th year at IP613 and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to see the new upgrades the owners had done....the place looks great. We certainly feel like we are 'home'when we are there and look forward to our visit in 2012. My only hopeful suggestion is that something is done with the vertical blinds on the deck door from bedroom....these havebeen a problem and know that they have been 'fixed' on several occasions. Otherwise, thanks to Brooks and Shorey for their great service and to the owners....we love staying in 613.

The only negative thing that I have to say about our stay in the area has nothing to do with the property. I would suggest to anyone staying in the area to prepare to eat early from the local restaurants. The ones that we went to closes to early.

The Island Princess has a great view of the Ocean. Only problem we ran into is mechanical functions in our rooms. The light switches were faulty. The door handle was about to fall off and the water pressure for a shower was terrible.

Beautiful condo, very nice, kids enjoyed all the games. The only negatives - sofa sleeper not comfortable, and the doors on the bedroom TV armoirs got in the way - they had to remain open to watch TV & did not slide back into armoir to get out of the way. Beds were very comfortable & furniture was beautiful.

We were very pleased when we arrived 2010 to find the unit 'reconditioned'. The changes were very nice and much appreciated. Unit had been repainted so felt clean. We have enjoyed this condo so much and look forward to coming in 2011. The only problem we encountered was the dryer needed repair and we felt that it took too long (2 1/2 weeks) to be able to use. We were receiving conflicting information. Vertical blind on bedroom deck door need to be replaced. They have been a problem opening and closing each year we have been there. These are two minor inconveniences but know that the owner wants to know of anything that should be taken care of. Having said that, we thank you for your excellent service as a realty company, and we want to especially thank Valerie for all her help. She takes all our calls and concerns with professionalism and a smile. Looking forward to our return in 2011.

There were several things that we didn't like. There was no light under the microwave to use while you cooked. Every time I would go to get a clean plate or bowl or pots and pans, they would be dirty. I believe whoever stayed there last put away dirty dishes. There was also no remote control for the master bedroom, so we had to go and purchase one to use. The kitchen was not well stocked for cooking. There was only 3 measuring spoons, but no tablespoon for measuring. No saucepans in the medium range, only small or large. All of these things are important to us when we go on vacation. I believe maybe the housecleaners job should be to check all the dihes and pots an pans to see if they are clean.

We stay two or three times per year at Island Princess. We have never had any problems at all until Labor Day Weekend 2009. Property was not clean and it appeared that housekeeping sweeped the floor and all the dirt and sand was under the coffee table. Also, the screened door was broken and would not completely close. The coffee pot was broken and I had to purchase another the first night we were there. The beach was wonderful and the water was clear, so we overlooked the problems with the condo.

Wonderful view and accomodations. The ammeneties were great also. I used my 18 holes of golf everyday. The emergency service was great...we left our keys inside and within 20 minutes we were delivered a new set. Would recommend it to anyone.

This is the third year that we have rented Unit 613. We have enjoyed it very much. Each time that we arrive, it
feels like coming 'home'. This year the unit appeared to be very clean, at least on the surface. As we got into the stay, it really needed some help, especially the spare room. Age is showing a little bit and we would ask that the owner consider updating it. There is nothing major: plastic flowers need to go (they are old, sticky and no amount of water can help), floors need a good cleaning, carpets need good cleaning (or consider replacing), furniture needs cleaning, blind on sliding glass door needs replaced, lamp shade in spare room disintegrating (needs replaced). Bed is very comfortable and we like the new spread/curtains that were installed. I understand that we look closer at these things because we are staying here much longer than the normal renter. We thank you for you great service and if any of these suggestions can be taken care of, it would be greatly appreciated. Your prompt response each time that we have called is MUCH appreciated. The unit has been completely updated since this review! New paint, new carpet, the tile has been professionally cleaned, tubs have been professionally refinished, all outdated artwork has been replaced, new furniture in the bedroom, the master bedroom updated with TEMPUR-PEDIC mattresses, 3 TVs have been updated to HDTVs - 2 flat panels and one flatscreen, 2DVD players have been added AS WELL AS AN X-BOX 360 WITH TWO WIRELESS CONTROLLERS and an IPOD dock/alarm, brand new barstools. Unit looks much much better with ALL NEW UPGRADES, this is a definite MUST SEE!!!!

My family really enjoyed our stay in Fort Walton's Island Princess 613. It is a fabulous location. Quiet and very family friendly. I would recommend taking your own food and NOT eating out. The restaurants are very expensive and the food is not the greatest. The beach is beautiful and we had such a wonderful time. We will definitely return for another week of great fun and relaxation.
