This is the third time we have stayed at this resort and we have always enjoyed it. This year the hot tub had been removed and that was disappointing. We were really looking forward to using it. We got locked in our room for a short while due to the patio doors being open slightly and the weatherstripping created as seal that didn't allow either of the doors to open. Thankfully maintenance works on Sunday and rescued us.

We loved it there, the location was great. Spent most of the time at the beach, and to have two bathrooms made it so much better. We have never rented a condo before but this is the only way to go. There was so much space, none of that crowded feeling you get in a hotel room especially with 3 kids. Really GREAT. I will hopefully be coming back for another stay.

This is the 3rd time we've vacationed at the Islander and we can't wait to go back. Its a great family atmosphere, quiet lication and good value. We especially love that the umbrella and chairs are included with the room.

We had a great time at the condo in Fl. We could walk out the door right too the beach, we had a wonderful view. The condo was clean and we had plenty of room. Brooks and Shorey was the only company that allowed us to stay for 3 days when all the rest would not accept reservations for less than a week. Thanks again!

We were very happy with our stay in room IBR 306. The Islander was nice, quiet, and the beach was great. The kitchen in this unit is very small-so it was a little difficult to have more than one person cooking. The bedrooms were spacious and the livingroom/dining area was huge. I was also very happy about the view! Even tho this is not considered a "beach view", it had a great view of the beach and we could see the sunset over the ocean. The price wasn't bad either. We had 6 people in our room and it was very comfortable and enjoyable. We will come back!

I was happy with the overall stay. I was unhappy that I was charged for not returning a movie card. Brooks and Shorey should have mentioned to me that it needed to be returned with the keys.

Hello, thank you for your comment. However, there are no charges for a lost movie card, we have not charged you and and we will not charge you for it. At the time of check-in we ask everyone to return the cards with the keys and this request is also included in the check-in paperwork you have signed. However, if you misplace the card there are no charges. Thanks!

elevator broke the entire stay. bathtub drain clogged, it was very unpleasant. the air conditioner would switch to heat automatically in middle of night, sounding like a freight train in the condo.

Overall our trip was very good. As far as the unit we stayed in, the AC unit sounds like a freight train - very loud! When we arrive and sat down in the living room, you could see crumbs and food under the couch! And the elevator in that building is terrible -- every time you hit floor 3 it takes you to 4 and then you have to hit 3 and come back down to that. We will be there in the Spring -- hope some of these issues can be taken care of. Thanks!

We had rented 704 at first, but when we arrived...the place was a dump! MOLD in the carpet, sagging sealing, sliding glass door rusted, bedsheets nasty, cigarette burns in the floor, M&Ms; under the couch...after an hour or so, we were finally moved to 306 - and excellent room! One thing is true though - do not go cheap! For $150 a night, you can get a dump, but if you spend $100-125 more, you get an amazing vacation.

By fare our worst rental in years of coming to Okloosa. I wiped up coffee staian beside the sofa,washed dishes form the cabinet before I could use them from dried on food,Thank God we were only on the third floor because the elevator was out the entire time , I usually have my elderly parents on vacations with me and all I could think of was what would I have done. Ridiculous only 1 evevator in this building. AND To only have 1 TV not either bedroom has a TV, Come on. This was not pleasant with teenagers.
NOT PLEASED AT ALL. -
