We have stayed at Dale E. Peterson resorts in the past and have always had very good service. This particular condo was less than appropriate for our needs. The one thing that I requested upon booking was to have Wifi internet service so that we could conduct our business while there. There was no Wifi for this condo and we were told that we could "ping" off someone else. This only worked if we were in 1 particular area of the room. Also, the handle on the glass door was broken and the screen door kept coming out of the track. The doors were very hard to open. The bed in the middle room broke the 3rd night we were there. The maint. man came and replaced the handle and stated that it was cheap. He also temporarily fixed the bed and said that it had happened before and he had told the owner to fix it. There was new balcony furniture delivered 2 days prior to our leaving, but they did not pick up the old furniture so there was so much on the patio that you couldn't even move when you were out there. All in all, everything else was acceptable, but I will not request this particular condo again.

We were staying at Navarre Towers, until the "Issac" mandatory evacuation on Monday 8/27/12. Heather at your office was so kind and offered us a condo at Island Princess.
We prefer Navarre Beach to the business of Fort Walton. Our condo at Navarre Towers 201 was bigger and much more comfortable; especially the beds,
than 701 at Island Princess. We apreciated the immediate help your office offered. -

Wishing I could wake up to that view every morning! The condo was beautiful, very clean. On the end with privacy. The only negative thing was the tv in twin bedroom didn't get a picture. That one thing was very easy to overlook. We had perfect wheather at the perfect place! I would come back for sure!!!

The location is family friendly. It was very quiet. I liked the door code instead of going to sign several papers like you normally have to do if you stay at a hotel. We were a group of six (ladies over 30) that stayed three nights.The condo does not offer exchange of towels but there were enough towels furnished that we did not have to wash any towels.

The condo was clean and ready when we arrived. Since this unit was close to the end of the complex the elevator and parking were very convenient (also the trash drop). Our family enjoyed the ocean view from the balcony. The beach was wonderful with clear water and white sand! Most of the visitors seemed to be families and everyone was very friendly. The condo was great. Although there were Tv's in every room, they were old sets which wasn't a concern to me but may be to someone who wants an HD quality picture. We would definately go back and request unit 701 again.

This unit has three bedrooms and 3 baths. It is large, sunny and very comfortable.
It is right on the beach with awesome ocean views from the deck.

The Island Princess is a great location at Fort Walton. The check in and check out couldn't have been easier. It was the second time I have stayed at this location. I would most likely stay again but not with my sister who is in a wheelchair. The condo 701 is suppose to be handicapp accessible and for the most part it is. The lip going to the balcony makes it impossible for the wheelchair to go over. She could not enjoy the ocean view from the balcony. We tried getting her out on the balcony but got stuck in the door way. Dave at the front desk came immediately and helped us. The room was not clean. The carpet was nasty lots of stained areas. We were informed it was time for cleaning and it could be done but would take 6 hrs. You have to remember we were only there for 4 days and have a handicap person who is unable to access the beach. So,not being able to be in the room most of one day would not work for us. There was an awful smell in the condo #701. There was water standing around the water heater which they couldn't drain til Monday and we arrived Friday night. The condo was good room size for the wheelchair to move around in except we had to take up area carpet in living area so the carpet wouldn't get stuck in wheels. The location was great close to grocery store and restaurants and pier. We were not going sight seeing or shopping just relaxing on the beach. The weather was great! The view from the balcony and window was great.

701 was the perfect place to share a relaxing beach weekend with 5 friends. Great View from our balcony, comfortable beds, easy access to the beach. Chairs and umbrella provided and set up - all we had to do was walk out with our books and sit down. Nearby Publix and restaurants provided plenty of food choices. We even had for perfect weather!

The condo was very nice and all the folks, including the beach service were friendly.
By going the third week of Sept., the beaches and restaurants were not crowded, which we loved. We would probably go the first week of sept next time as the water was a little cool. -

Andi & Dave were helpful and committed to seeing that we had as pleasant of a vacation experience as possible.
My husband was hospitalized during our stay. Andi helped secure a few extra days at our unit as well as overnight in another. Dave even helped me with the luggage.

Very nice condo. Making reservation was fast and easy. There was an incident with my reservation and the agent called me immediately.They gave my family an upgraded room at no additional cost.

The Friday before arriving my mother-in-law who lives with (the reason for that room handicap shower)fell and broke her hip. They performed hip replacement Sat. morning. I contacted Dale Peterson that Friday afternoon and the first person told me sorry but I lost the rental I had already payed. I then asked to speak to a manager and everyone was out they would return my call. The next day after not hearing from them I called back. By now it is Sat. midday and was told they would attempt to lease and if they could they would refund a portion. I have called since then and no one can tell me anything. I was told becuse I did not buy insurance I was out of luck.
I was totally unsatisfied with this and most likely will not call you again. I have also discussed this with many friends and co-workers some of which were looking for something like this. They decided not to go! -

Loved the beach; the unit was very nice (really liked 3 baths!). The location was perfect - not as crowded as Destin beaches, but convenient to all the restaurants and golf courses. The amenities were great - loved the beach chair setup and took advantage of the golf discount! The least favorite thing was the slow hot elevator! Overall: wonderful vacation!!!!!

I was very pleasantly surprised by this condo! My mother is handicap and is confined to a wheelchair. This room is completely handicap accessible and fit her needs perfectly. Previous rentals in other cities were lacking, so I was very glad we found this one. The decorations and furniture were up-to-date and quite pleasant. It's also quite a bit roomier than I thought it would be. Located near the elevator, the convenience of this condo was great. The condo was very clean upon arrival. The management of this condo is also top-notch, in my opinion. The management office personnel were very friendly and willing/able to assist with any needs we had. I highly recommend this room!
