This is a ground level condo in Fort Walton's premier, most-popular resort: Waterscape. It is a 2BR/2BA, ground level, beach front unit. There is a huge, zero-entry pool with a waterfall, lily pad course, and water gadgets. There is a lazy river with waterfall, a toddler pool with a waterslide, another pool heated in winter, and a covered play area. We are brand new owners so it has just been remodeled in fun, bea...chy colors and outfitted with toys, floats, and even a wagon to help you get around.

Waterscape is shaped like a U. The beach is at the top of the U. The A unit is on the left. The B unit is on the right. The C unit is at the bottom (parallel to the beach). So the C unit is farthest from the beach, but the walk is lovely and the rates are cheaper. From the higher units in the C building, you have a wonderful view of the beach. My unit is a ground unit. You can’t see the beach. However, you can step out of my unit onto the ground and you’re on your way. C203 is directly behind the toddler poolβ€”I’m talking a few steps! So it’s a trade-off. See the beach and fight the stairs. See the courtyard and you’re ready to go!

When we were shopping for condos I looked at EVERYTHING. I had never stayed in the C building before. As we looked at the condos for sale we were weighing A vs. B. On the last day, we visited C. My husband and I both were in immediate agreement: this is where it’s at!! The first thing that got us was the layout. The kitchens in A and B are TINY. It is SO FRUSTRATING. There is limited cabinet space, nowhere to put your food except right on the counter. And when you do, then there’s no counterspace to work. The kitchens in the C building are very large. More than one person can go in at a time and there’s plenty of room for everything, including cooking! Next benefit: Parking! This may not seem like a big deal but after staying in the B building MANY times and then staying in our unit, I realized I had no idea what I was missing. It’s very convenient. If I forgot something in the car, 10 seconds and it’s in the condo. This is C building only…and the lower you are, the less levels you have to drive up to get this convenience. Finally, we loved being on ground level. The way Waterscape is built is unique. There’s a little bit of maze to get to the pools if you aren’t on the ground level. The C building has a luscious green courtyard in front. My kids play on it a LOT! They love to pull each other around the grass in the wagon. They can do this and I can see them from the couch!

C203 has its own personality. It is colorful and beachy, and most importantly to me, IT IS NOT CLUTTERED. If I see one more fake plant (I mean dust collector) inside a condo I think I’ll scream. I don’t need extra clutter already in the condoβ€”I bring my own! C203 is a unit for families. I love children and they are welcome in my unit. I have some things in there that might help you out during your stay, including an all-terrain wagon to get you around the property, a pack-n-play, high chair, toys, floats, etc.

I don’t just cater to kids. Grown-ups are fine with me too. I have a high-end Margaritaville Margarita Machine on the counter for your enjoyment. It makes wonderful margaritas!! I also have books, nice TVs, and a DVD player in every room. I have big, thick towels, very comfortable mattresses, and the kitchen is stocked with nice gadgets. (I rented at Waterscape for a long timeβ€”I know how frustrating it is to go in a unit and barely be able to find a spatula. It drives me insane!!) Many owners own a unit for an investment and don’t oversee the unit closely. Their mistake--My advantage!

Technical details about C203:

**Master BR has a king bed. Master bath has double vanities, a walk in shower, and a large bathtub.

**Guest BR has a queen bed. Guest bath has a single vanity and walk in shower (no tub).

**Bunk Room has 2 twins, of course.

**Couch bed is full size.

Carpet was removed from my unit and tiled throughout. (So much cleaner!!)

The unit has all the amenities you’d expect. Washer/Dryer, dishwasher, icemaker, etc.

Additional Location Information

This condo is located in Fort Walton Beach, just over the bridge from Destin, Florida. It is very safe and very family friendly. Excellent restaurants, the fishing pier, and boardwalk are a quick, easy walk. Tons of shopping, golf, and world-class restaurants are close by. The kids will love the water parks, go-cart racing, arcades, the Gulfarium, museums, miniature golf, and more. On the beach, if relaxing with a good book isn't your thing, you can try parasailing, jet skiing, and wind surfing, among others. Just across the street you can rent a boat and float out in the bay with countless other boaters doing the same. The location is filled with plenty to do on rainy days or if you've just had enough of the surf and sand.

  A quick thank you for opening your condo at Waterscape to guests. Our family had a very enjoyable time once the rain let up on Tuesday afternoon. We loved your condo, your gift to Emma (a touch we've never had before and much appreciated), your kindness and thoroughness. While the condo does not have a view of the beach, it makes up for it in convenience--we never had to climb stairs when parking, bringing in groceries or entering. We loved the yard that Emma got to play in and getting to walk right into the condo. We will recommend it to others for sure and will keep your info for us to return.
