This was our second summer in a row at Summer Place. We love the location. We had family (Also the the 2nd year) in 2 other condos. This unit was very nice. Had everything we needed. Great view to watch dolphins and sunsets. Sally is so nice to work with. Easy walk across the street to a variety of places to eat. The beach is never crowded like the big high rise units.

This rental has it all...comfortable beds, nicely-stocked kitchen, and the location is perfect. The pool is nice and you are literally right on the beach-just walk through the lobby and across the pool area and you are on the walkway to the beach. The beach is very soft, white sand and the complimentary beach service was very nice. Parking was also never a problem. The location of this rental is superb. You can actually walk to several restaurant-it's right across the street from Fudpuckers of Fort Walton and Old Bay Steamer. You could walk down the beach to the pier-where there are even more restaurants. It is also just minutes to the grocery store, and only about 5 mintues from Destin. There is also plenty of storage...good sized closets in the bedrooms and 2 kitchen pantries. The in-unit laundry was also a huge plus. We cannot wait to go back.

My husband and I, our daughter, and my mother stayed here for five days. During our stay we had up to 10 people in the condo, at various times for family get togethers and meals, ample room where no one felt cramped or had to wait for a bathroom!
Having grown up in the area, but moved away, I'll admit I was a little apprehensive about renting on the beach during spring break. But it's a family property and the security team does a good job of trying to keep things quiet after ten, although I did have to speak to one group of teens once, but that was the end of it and Sally (at the front desk) was adamant about following up if needed.
Great property, well kept, clean, neat, could have used a few more rolls of toilet paper, a few more trash bags and more dishwasher detergent, but Publix was just over the bridge..literally 2 minutes away.
