Villa I Pini del Mare is a lovely, well maintained 7 bedroom villa rental with lovely private pool on the Tuscan seaside on the exclusive coast of Versilia. Accurately furnished it is located in a private pinewood near Massa just 700 metres from the beach.
External Description:
The house is located in Tuscany on the exclusive coast of Versilia, just 700 metres from the beach between Carrara and Forte dei Marmi. The house was built by a student of the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright and designed to maximise the building's contact with nature. The villa is ideally situated thanks to it's location very close to the beach which is... also easily accessible both by foot or bicycle. Furthermore, it not far from the marble town of and the nightlife of the famous Forte dei Marmi.
The villa actually comprises two separate houses which are ideal for two families or one family with a domestic staff. Each house enjoys plenty of natural light, has its own independent entrance and driveway, and looks onto the garden. The parkland surrounding the villa (about 7000 sqm) has numerous pine trees making it a very peaceful and very private. In this parkland you will find the swimming pool measuring 15x3 meters. The gardens are also the ideal place for children to play and where guests can park cars.
Internal Description:
Villa I Pini del Mare has a total of 7 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms and can sleep a total of 14 people. The main house of 220sqm is set out on two levels. On the ground floor you will find a large open sitting/dining room (with fireplace, table to seat 12 people with TV set complete with DVD player. The room opens completely onto the main terrace/garden. On the same floor you will find the fully equipped kitchen leading to the charming terrace covered by wisteria.
The night area is on the ground floor and comprises a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom (bath) and wall closet; 2 further bedrooms (one single and one double); a bathroom with shower and a study.
On the first floor there are 2 bedrooms - one master suite with a large window overlooking the garden terrace and a the other bedroom has 3 single beds. There is also a bathroom with bath tub.
The second house of 100 sqm on the ground floor comprises a sitting room including comfortable sofas, TV set complete with DVD and video player. This room also has a direct access to the terrace and gardens. There is a fully equipped kitchen with dinning area (table for six); 2 bedrooms (one double and one with 3 single beds) and a bathroom with tub. There is also an ample storage space for clothing and other belongings.
Our Personal Opinion:
This is a perfect villa if you are a large group and you wish to relax and enjoy the Tuscan seaside. The villa, which is equipped with all the necessary amenities has an huge garden with swimming-pool in the fresh shade of the pines. The distance of the beach (only 700 meters) allows you to reach it in bicycle or simply by walking.
The villa can only be rented by the month in August and July, from Saturday to Saturday in June and Septembre and from 3 days the rest of the year.
