This part of a 17th century barn conversion is located near to High Bentham on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales and can sleep six people in three bedrooms. Swallow Cottage is a stone built part of a barn conversion near to the town of High Bentham on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The cottage has one double bedroom with an ensuite and two twin rooms, one with an ensuite. The cottage also has a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room. Winter Short Breaks (WSB) are available at many properties in the "Winter" period - subject to availability. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. Off Season Breaks (OSB) are available at many properties in parts of the "Low" and "Mid" periods - subject to availability. The price for a 3 night break is either 75% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. OSBs can be booked within a calendar month of the start date of the holiday. "Last Minute Breaks" (LMB) are available at most properties throughout the "LOW", "MID", "HIGH", "PEAK", "XMAS" and "NEW YEAR" periods. The price for a 3 night break is either 65% of the normal weekly rental or, if it is higher, the quoted Winter Short Break price. Extra nights are charged pro rata of the weekly rental. LMBs can be booked within one week of the start date of the holiday.

We enjoyed our stay here, but were not wowed. But for the money, it was more than adequate.
The owner, who lives next door, was friendly and helpful.
It's located in a part of the country we had not visited before, which was very suited to our needs at the time.

The cottage was part of a barn conversion and next to the owners property. It was however very secluded, the entrance and french doors being to the side rather than in line with the owners. The location was good, near to the Yorkshire Dales, Cumbria and in a beautiful part of Lancashire. It was in the middle of farmland - cattle and sheep farming.
The sofas were comfortable, and the kitchen diner very well equipped. It was the cleanest place we have ever rented. Would go back if we went to the area again.
