Greenville, North CarolinaGreat quiet get away; beautiful views. Really easy booking.

ThiS was as advertised. Privacy..great. Relaxation..great walks on beach..great. Accommodations..great. Really nice markets are within 15mins., but you do need transportation. We used this as a home base to cook and relax at night and we drove to various points of interest. I would really like to go back and just stay there for a week or two...chilling. That's what this place is great for doing!

The pictures do not do justice to this vacation cottage - the view is spectacular. This cottage is located so that it is a convenient base for exploring the Puget Sound area from the Olympics to Seattle/Tacoma, but you might want to just spend the entire time enjoying the wonderful deck. We spent two weeks at the cottage and enjoyed every minute of it. The hosts live next door and are available to provide any assistance or suggestions you may need but they are also very respectful of your privacy. If you have a canoe or kayak bring it as you can launch right from the cottage and explore the waters around Fox Island.

We stayed at the cabin and enjoyed being right at the water's edge. How could we not relax and unwind? The views were amazing and we were able to see plentiful sea life right out the windows. The spacious decks provided the opportunity to get closer to the beautiful surroundings. We were impressed by the well equipped kitchen, as we love to cook. Our hosts, Bill and Sue were warm and welcoming, and are two wonderful people. We will be back to stay there for our honeymoon.

Greenwood Village, COGreat Place to Stay!

My husband and I spent two weeks here and had a fantastic time! The listing was 100% accurate, but I have to say that nothing will prepare you for the breathtaking view! We come to this area every year and this house by far has the best view (not to mention the best outdoor area) of any of the properties we have rented. This house is the perfect place to stay to explore all the nearby towns and cities that are just a short drive away (Seattle, Gig Harbor, etc). Bill and Sue are wonderful hosts, and made sure we had everything we needed. The house itself was spotless and the movie / book selection was a nice surprise. I would definitely recommend this wonderful vacation home to anyone looking to relax.

Victoria BCComfortable,quiet, peaceful retreat
Left on 01/17/2011 for a stay in December 2010
My husband and I, together with my daughter and grandson, stayed at Beach House on Fox Island just prior to Christmas. Despite the atrocious weather - the worst for over 40 years for the area - we have only fond memories of the kindness of our hosts and the comfort of our accommodation. The views are spectacular and the peace and quiet just what we needed. Beach House will definitely be a place we will revisit.
