Comfortable and Friendly Family run Bed & Breakfast. Ideal as a base for touring and well equipped for fishing with drying room fridge freezer and tackle room. We have 6 comfortable bedrooms - 4 ensuite with 2 bedrooms on the ground floor. All bedrooms are tastefully furnished and decorated to a high standard. Also a comfortable TV lounge looking onto the landscaped garden.

We are situated halfway between Foxford and Ballina. 2 minutes from Mount Falcon Country House Hotel and 3 minutes from Hotel Ballina. We are beside the River Moy world famous for its large catches of salmon. Loughs Conn and Cullen for trout fishing. It is an angler's paradise. We are in the countryside ideal for walking, cycling and touring. We have some interesting visitor centres and the most beautiful scenery in the world. Enniscrone championship golf course is only 7 miles from Ballina whereas in Ballina itself, the golf course there is now regarded as first class. Ballina is only 4 miles away. It is a lovely town providing a wide variety of shops, restaurants and pubs. There is no shortage of entertainment with discos, traditional irish music and jazz. The house is set back from the road in a quiet country area and we provide ample private parking.

Stayed here while attending a wedding in Mount Falcon. Helen could not have been more friendly and accommodating. Tea and biscuit on arrival after long drive from Dublin and our very clean room with en suite was waiting ready for us at 11am. Delicious full Irish breakfast the next morning. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Myself and a group of friends stayed here after attending a wedding reception at foxford castle. Helen the landlady gave us a very warm Irish welcome. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable in her beautiful home and couldn't do enough for us.
The house itself is a stones throw from the castle, making it an ideal location for anyone attending an event there.
I would highly recommend Helen to anyone looking for accommodation in the area. -

Imho - the best BB located ( Foxford road - near mount falcon hotel approx - halfway between ballina and foxford) to be able to fish for salmon on the river moy - secure storage of tackle,provision of Fridge ( in external laundry room) for cold drinks etc , freezer to store the tagged salmon !! an ability ( for free) to fill a flask full of tea - ( Helen - Can also provide a packed lunch ( on request )
---Nothing is ever too much trouble for Helen and Jim. -
we are always made to feel welcome, the rooms were very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The full Irish breakfast tasty fresh free range eggs an bacon its - always served with a smile.- we will definitely back
