With the excellent service we received in renting the home for our two-week vacation, we were also pleasantly surprised when we arrived and saw the home for the very first time.
It was truly "far-far away" so we could have a restful time in the woods, and yet it was convenient to all the places in the area that we always like to go to.
The home was very nicely laid out,bright and airy,with all the conveniences of home. We really enjoyed cooking out on the deck, and watching the bear come out for a stroll in the back yard.
To let you know HOW MUCH we enjoyed "Far-Far Away"
the day after we arrived home we called to rent it for next year!!!!!!!!!! We are already looking forward to our family being together next year!! -

We were very satisfied by our experience with Franconia Notch Vacations and this property. This is our second stay and FNV always goes out of their way to insure the best vacation. I would reccomend this to ANYONE!

The house was very nice. Had a big Dining room table that easily sat 8 - 10 people. Master bedroom was very comfortable with it's own private bathroom. Very quiet spot and very close to Polly's Pancake House. If you stood on the back deck you could smell the Pine Trees. We saw signs of a Bear but didn't see one while we were there. Great place to stay and enjoy the area.

House was clean and adequately equipped with linens. Kitchen did not have an adequate supply of quality pots and pans, so cooking anything but a simple meal was difficult. Description included Satellite TV, but it was not available (subscription lapsed), nor stereo, nor gas grill. A car was stored in garage and removed by someone during our visit. We were not informed of this arrangement. Calls to rental agency during visit not returned.

We're sorry that the Franconia's Far Far Away did not make the usual Franconia Notch Vacations muster. The items you made mention of will all be looked into now that we have notice. Reviewing our records for your stay we are unable to find missed or any messages left asking for assistance however. Note sure what happened there- yet again not our norm and we apologize for not matching the set expectations.
