As usual, Cort from Franconia Rentals was very helpful and provided excellent hiking suggestions.
The slalom chalet is very clean, has central air and is beautifully furnished.
Slight downside is it's close proximity to the highway (hiding behind the trees), somewhat unexpected in this idyllic setting. Still, we had a marvelous time and enjoyed eating our meals outside on the beautifully furnished deck.

My family of 4 has spent the weekends and holidays of last 2 ski seasons living at the Slalom Chalet. We have had a great experience with every aspect of our stays (50+ days per season).

This place is awesome! Franconia notch vacation rental agent does a superb job with cleaning, easy check ins and check out. This place is so clean, and professionaly maintained. we go 3 to 4 times a year and never have any complaints or worries. We highly recommend this home or any place that Franconia notch vacations manages they rock all the way!

We had a great week at this property. The kids and dogs enjoyed the yard. I loved the kitchen and open concept of the house. Only drawback is proximity through the woods to highway, you can hear the cars go by, but we knew this going in and the house was more of a staging area for us to do various activites throughout the week so it was not so bad.

We had a awesome time as we always do. we go up three times every year and since we found this place its our home away from home. The property manager is awesome and very accomodating to you and your needs. I really hate to say how awesome it is in fear it will be booked when we want to go. Its a five star plus.

The cabin was very nice, very clean, excellent condition. The only drawback was the closeness of I-93. The sounds of cars and trucks 24/7 ruined the solitude I was hoping for.

It was the best vacation. we ususally go up north 3 to 4 times a year and by fluke one day we stopped in at Franconia noth vacation rentals, there we met the owner Cort. He is awesome and makes sure you have the best vacation you ever had.
My hubby and dogs and myself all enjoyed the beautiful chalet, its decorated so tasteful and very roomy, we love it and we will continue to go back every year. Can't wait till our next stay.!!! -

I rented this place for a week-end of skiing (happened to be Valentines week-end too). Since I did the reservation only a couple of days beforehand I was convinced that all the best places were already taken and I'll have to accept whatever was still available. The pictures on the internet looked good, but they always do, so that's not saying much. To my delight the place looked better than the pictures. Everything was decorated with good taste, and the appliances were of best quality. The dishes and glassware were full sets (and not the usual hodge podge you find in rental vacation homes). The place was the cleanest I have ever rented, and I am a really picky fellow when it comes to cleanness. I don't think it could have been better if it were brand new. We had a blast! Loon mountain is about 15 min away, which was a plus from my point of view because we were very close but still far enough to avoid the crowds that invaded Loon for the Valentines week-end. In a sentence, I liked the place so much that I am actually reluctant to write this review because I want to rent it again and I am afraid it won't be available if too many people hear about it : ) .
