    Additional Location Information

    Hotel Borger:
Centrally but quietly located, Hotel Borger offers tastefully furnished single, double, and double bed-rooms as well as an apartment for up to four people. In all, there are 34 rooms; 30 non-smoker’s and 4 smoker’s.
The last partial renovation of the house was done in 2006, and we have reacted to the rising demand for non-smoker’s and anti-allergy rooms.
Among the most innovative features is the DURAAIR carpeting, which we have installed as one of the first hotels in Frankfurt am Main, in both guest rooms and hallways. It, as well as the DRAPILUX window drapes, act against bad smells, including cigarette smoke. There are also anti-allergen pillows and duvets, as well as excellent mattresses. Shower enclosures of sealed glass also contribute to cleanliness and safety and give the bathrooms a special ambiance.
In addition, we offer our guests the possibility of wireless internet access in all rooms. You just need a personal user account, available at the reception.
    Surroundings:
Our house is close by a recreation area which is great not just for relaxing walks, but also jogging or Nordic Walking.
In addition, a large outdoors and indoors pools area with saunas is just a 10 minutes-walk away.
The closest 18-hole golf course is in Bad Vilbel-Dortelweil; 10 minutes of driving.
    Shopping:
Hessen-Center, located just a three-minute walk away, offers more than 150 specialty stores. Regular antiques markets and special events are also highly recommendable.
For quick shopping for necessities, a REWE market is right at our house; it offers a rich selection of goods.
    Gastronomy:
Restaurant Frankfurter Hof, right in our house, offers fresh German cuisine, a great selection of wines, and various seasonal specialties. Frankfurt also caters to any other international taste.
More travel info about Frankfurt: Located on the river Main, Frankfurt is the financial capital of Europe and the transportation center of Germany. Frankfurt is the place of residence of the European Central Bank and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. Furthermore, it hosts some of the world's most important trade shows, such as the Frankfurt Auto Show and the Frankfurt Book Fair. It is also birthplace of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe. Frankfurt is a city of contrasts. Wealthy bankers, students, and granola drop-outs coexist in a city that has some of the highest, most avant-garde skyscrapers of Europe next to well maintained old buildings. The downtown area, especially Roemer square and the museums at the River Main, draw millions of tourists every year. On the other hand, many off the beaten track neighborhoods, such as Bockenheim, Bornheim, Nordend, and Sachsenhausen, with their intact beautiful 19th century streets and parks, are mostly neglected by tourism and lesser visited by tourists.
