IT JUST LOOKS OLD OUTSIDE BUT JUST WAIT UNTIL YOU SEE THE INSIDE!! IT'S ALL NEW, Warm, Rustic, Natural Wood throuout with the scenic Nantahala Mountains surrounding and vistas of farms of cattle and cornfields. Deer cross the immediate area and show their white tails waving in the wind. Wild turkeys are a common sight. The property is mostly on level terrain and easy access from the main road. First of all, the pictures cannot do this wonderful little hideaway justice. There is a lot more space than you would think. First step in and you are overwhelmed by the sense of order, cleanliness & peaceful energy surrounding you. Dine at the kitchen table or sit in an easy chair with a tranquil view of green pastures, trees and a babbling creek. Take a short walk to the creek side for a swing in the hammock, to grill up dinner and have a picnic or grab a book and rock your soul back to life on the front porch in a couple of rocking chairs. There are two other cabins/cottages on this property available for rent and after looking at all three, I honestly could not decide which one to choose. Each one is so unique yet equally inviting. I'll be back to try the others and I am already planning a "girlfriend's getaway weekend" here. The owners are amazing, they just open their arms and make you part of their family, all the while being available and yet respecting your privacy. What a great experience this was!

The orcutts are lovely people. We have rented here for two years and have found the accommodations to be clean, fun, and reasonably priced. We will be back.

rustic cabin. We appreciated the cleanliness and the way
Diane decorated the cabin,it"s warm and welcoming. It's a perfect place for a couple looking for peace and relaxtion. Diane and Gene make you feel so welcome. This is truly a peacefull getaway. We will be back!:)
