BostonCozy comfort in a lakeside abode
Left on 11/15/2012 for a stay in August 2012
Everything was perfect for us at Blueberry Cove, except that the time came that we had to leave. We loved it so much that we didn't go into town or anywhere at all. We swam a couple times a day, went out in the row boat to the other side of the lake, canoed to the marshes to do some birdwatching (saw a big blue heron and lots of other birds), spent time observing the bald eagle family taking turns perching on the top of the tree in the cove and sharing it with an Osprey, took the kayak out and enjoyed how fast it goes, played games, read and cooked a lot.
The cottage is very cozy and comfortable - our favorite place to sit is in the front sun room watching the lake, morning, noon and night. In any weather, it is peaceful and calming. The private sandy beach is perfect; comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. The water is warm and velvety, and not filled with motor boaters zooming around all day. The cottage is very well equipped inside and out, with every comfort imaginable.

Woburn, MAAmazing stay!
Left on 09/25/2012 for a stay in September 2012
Where should I start...our stay at Blueberry Cove lake house was absolutely amazing. The owner, Brigitte, has not cut corners on anything to make the house top notch. From high end kitchen appliances to marvelously comfortable sheets and pillows. A welcome basket along with a Prosecco bottle awaited us. If I thought I needed something - for example, stationary as I sat in the beautiful (Crate&Barrel;) office desk overlooking the lake, I was sure to open the drawer and find it there. There beach chairs, towels, toys, kayaks, row boat, fishing poles, life vest, wood for the firepit. Everything was well thought of, and absolutely outstanding quality. The living room has perhaps 12 windows, so you can sit anywhere and just watch the gorgeous lake. Loon where visiting the lake, and in the evening the kids and us just sat and listened to their beautiful song (sounds like a wolf!). Ac in perfect condition and fans in just about every room. The walls are painted in soothing pastel colors, and the decor is classy and tasteful. Nothing in this house overwhelms you, everything is peacefully placed together for your use and delight. The sand beach is awesome for kids, they played in the water, fished, and kayaked to the island across the house. My husband biked in gorgeous trails just nearby. My tween daughter enjoyed a visit to the outlets. My twin boys (5 year old) just loved to play outside and even slept under the stars with dad (in a little tent we brought).
The outdoor umbrella has pretty lights on it, which makes dinning or sipping a wine outside in the night by the fire even more dramatic.
My family stayed there for 6 days, and we left already planning the next visit.
We ended our summer with a wonderful family vacation. Franklin is about 90mins from our house, but we felt so relaxed and happy it seemed we were thousands of miles from the day to day routine back at home.
If you want a great stay, look no more! Blueberry is the best!!

We rented out the blueberry cove for a 3 night stay in September. Brigitte the owner covered every amenitie possible in our eyes. Our kids loved the beach, fishing and hammock near the fire pit. The adults enjoyed the setting inside and out. We had a eagle family greet us when we arrived and also flew overhead for goodbye. We will definitely be back. Thank you Brigitte.
