The Summit Trail Lodge was very clean and had lots of space. Everything worked great and the hill in the back was great to sled on. We would definitely stay here again next year.

Atlanta, GAIt was not what we expected.
Left on 03/06/2013 for a stay in February 2013
The unit was not big enough for 11 people. The living area only had room for 5 to sit. The kitchen was small -no trash compactor so we were taking out trash constantly. Sofa beds were very uncomfortable so we couldn't use those even for the kids. Not set up for skiing - no place to put boots except one very small mat.(No mop) When we arrived, there were only 7 towels in the whole house and no linens for the sleepers. The kitchen was so unorganized. The housekeepers had ramdonly thrown pots and pans, etc wherever. We had to search for everything. If you want to cook, stove is marginal and very small refrig. The unit looked good in the pictures but could be set up better. It really only sleeps 7 comfortably. Winter Park Lodging took care of all of the problems very quickly but it was a hassle. I guess we are just spoiled by other nice units that we have stayed in at other ski resorts. Winter Park is a great ski facility and the locals were very nice. Beautiful view.

The lodge was wonderful---we had everything we needed. The only thing that was not good was the hide-a-bed on the lower level. Our son who was assigned to sleep on that bed said it was broken and very uncomfortable. He ended up sleeping on the main floor sofa and floor.

Great place to stay and ski. Had 10 inches snow first night, really comfortable and nice place to stay. Very handy being near Safeway, able to utilize kitchen easily. Bathrooms super when coming off the slopes to shower. Family able to spread out and also have some privacy.

The house was great! Here are a few things that we were disappointed with.
1.Coffee Maker-Top of the line but filthy...hadn't been cleaned out or washed since God knows when.
2.Gas Grill-again Filthy dirty...Also ran out of propane the 2nd night so had to make other arrangements for dinner.
3. You have extra pillows in the closet but no pillow cases...Gross!
4. Soap-we were left 1 tiny bar of soap for each bathroom to use in the tub and at the sink. I think you could provide additional bars or list that you don't.
Quite honestly I think each and every one of those items is a driection reflection on the cleaning service and not the property so you may want to follow up on that more closely. With that being said just let them know that was the main reason no tip was left.

Left on 03/30/2011 for a stay in March 2011
The home was great for our group! All the levels gave everyone their own space! Two of the teens loved the hot tub and hit it every night after the slopes!!! We did have a problem with the televisions. The cable and wifi didn't work when we got there. The people from winter park lodging were great and sent someone out. Unfortunately we continued to have connection problems and one tv in the balcony room never worked. If all that would have worked it would have been perfect!,

Great space for everyone ~ gorgeous decor, well stocked kitchen, superior bedding and the most comfortable beds ever! There is a huge hill right next to the house ~ our kids spent hours sledding (sleds were in the garage) and my husband and I sat in the hot tub watching them...absolutely priceless! The 2 car heated garage was fantastic as well ~ even fit our suburban w/ ski rack, no problem. We will definitely rent here again.

Very nice layout; beautiful views of mountains. Excellent service by Winter Park lodging company. About 100 yards from ski shuttle saves parking and hassle. Great fire place and hot tub. Gathering area was nice. Dining table seats 8; 4 addl seated at island counter for a total of 12 in our group. Sleeping great for 8. Pull out sofa beds were not high quality but we had no probem making the 4 younger kids comforatable enough. Good value. We would do it again for sure.
