RATES ABOVE ARE FOR 1 OR 2 PEOPLE!!!! After 2 people, each additional person is 25.00 per person per night. Pets allowed but MUST be disclosed before arrival and are charged 25.00 per night as well. Generally require 2 night stay, but can always book a one night during week at the higher weekend rate. Sometimes other exceptions can also be made. Call for details. All cleaning charges included along with breakfast gift voucher.

We loved the idea of being in a residential area in a stand-alone cottage...i.e. no common walls with other guests so you have extra privacy. The location couldn't have been better if you are able to walk 2-3 blocks to get to stores or restaurants. The bed was super comfy and you could tell the linens were quality. There was even a nice soft pillow like I have at home. For the price, there was certainly a lot of space and the advantage of a small kitchen, microwave, coffee maker. There were two TVs and even WiFi which I didn't expect. There were comfy robes, air conditioning, a fan over the bed, wonderful recliners for watching TV.
So, what's the but? Cleanliness. As I read back all the positive things about arbor Cottage, I wonder if I am being silly but the place--for all its amenities--needed a serious updating. The venetian blinds and baseboards were dirty and the bathroom was old with linoleum that could use an update. There was a cracked window and the window sills and curtains were quite dirty. There were cobwebs on the indoor porch. We do not mind "charming or quaint" as long as a rental is clean. A thorough cleaning and a coat of paint and a little bathroom upgrade would make this place so perfect!! My recommendation comes as a qualified "yes"Response from Tammy Sikes - 04/22/2013

Amazing getaway!!!

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon and it was magical! Its a great location in Fredricksburg and a very nice place. The bathroom is a little on the small side, but the place is great!!! Just a point of awareness though, the hottub is in a screened in area, a little cool during the winter months, but still awesome!!!

We had previously stayed at the arbor Cottage - we loved it even more the 2nd time - it was clean, close to walking distance to everything on Main. We wont stay anyplace else when we visit Fredericksburg

We had a wonderful stay at the arbor Cottage. It's a good value for the money and perfectly located a block and a half off Main Street, close enough to be in the middle of everything while still set aside enough for quiet and relaxation. The porch room with the hot tub is amazing! It was a great, romantic trip for us and just what we needed to get away from our busy schedules and relax together for a few days. Perfect size cottage for two! Make sure to check out the Lincoln Street Wine Bistro during your stay and maybe take some cheese and bread back to the cottage to enjoy in private. We would definitely stay again.

Arbor Cottage is a cozy and quiet little home just off Main Street on the West end. It is within walking distance of all the food and fun that Fredericksburg has to offer. When we arrived to check in, everything was ready and waiting on us so we were in and out in no time. When we arrived at the cottage, everything was really clean and we felt right at home. My wife and I spent the weekend shopping, wine tasting, eating, and dancing. If you are looking for a quiet and comfortable place to stay in Fredericksburg, Arbor Cottage is the place to be!!

We stayed at the arbor Cottage for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. The bed was amazing and the most comfortable bed we have ever slept on. The hot tub was relaxing. It was within two blocks of Main St. All and all we had an amazing time and will definatley be retuning soon.

My husband and I went away for his birthday and stayed at arbor cottage. We were pleasantly Suprise to stay in such a charming yet cozy place. The hot tub was a plus and the fireplace was a perfect touch. We can't wait to go back! Shopping on main street, touring the wineries and the Restaraunts are a wonderful and inexpensive getaway.

My husband and I came to Fredericksburg for a long weekend to celebrate our one year anniversary. We could not be happier that we found the arbor Cottage. It was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated (the owners even took the extra time to come in and decorate for Christmas). The extra ammenities were wonderful- hot tub, bath robes, kitchenette, luxury bedding. We would recommend the arbor Cottage to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

Arbor Cottage is like visiting a small town where people still sit on the front porch and visit with family and friends. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and the cottage beautifully decorated, clean and homey. At the end of the day, it felt like we were coming home to arbor Cottage not just staying in a room. It was nice our friends were right next door.

Secluded, cottage close enough to Main Street shopping and dining. Close enough to return often. Entering the quaint cottage you will find a beautifully decorated oasiss. Whether sitting in front of the romantic fireplace or just relaxing after a day on the town, the most comfortable mahogany bed will lull you to sleep. To keep up with the latest scores a large screen TV is provided. Staying in the arbor cottage is like coming home .
