Description from the manager
This charming home was built in the 1920s by a prominent Fredericksburg family who to this day have many fond memories about the house. This is one of the few homes built during that time period with closets in every bedroom. The current owners restored Breeh Haus in 2006, and have created a wonderful warm country antique look throughout the home. Located on one block from Main Street Breeh Haus is both charming and comfortable.

Took a short Mother and Daughter trip to get out of austin for a day and we really enjoyed the Breeh Haus. The home was fully stocked with all we needed and the home was very lovely. We had a great time and a good night sleep on the comfortable beds. We will stay again soon.

My husband & I & another couple stayed at the Breeh Haus & absolutely loved it!!! The beds were comfy & the decor was very nice. The breakfast is continental, but that was not a big dissapontment for us. We ate in town one morning so it was no big deal. We would definitely.book this house again, we liked it so much!

The home was great. We love the spaciousness and antiques. We also love that they allow pets. The location was convenient to main street and although the house was on a busy street the traffic noise was not too bad. The only thing I would say could have made it better was for the yard to be maintained - it was full of weeds and burrs so we could not let our dogs walk in that area. Other than that we loved the house - so much better than staying in a small, bland hotel room!

Pros: Perfect location, roomy, clean, comfy beds, beautiful decor with antique furniture (all of which is for sale), continental breakfast available.
Cons: Yard was overgrown and needed grooming, bathtub/shower is not user friendly. Nothing to hold on to when getting in or out, cannot access soap unless you raise the shower curtain.
We would not stay there again only because of the bathtub/shower accessibility. It is an accident waiting to happen. Otherwise, the house was lovely and we enjoyed it. -

This house is convenient to downtown and comfortable for two couples. The extra room with twin bed was great for napping or book reading during the day.

Breeh House was like home way from home. If was so relaxing to come back to Breeh House after a busy day of shopping and driving. We were very comfortable with the surroundings, the furniture and beds were great! Antiques were beautiful.

We stayed 2 nights and the house could not have been better. Just like being at home. The nice goodies that were left for us was an added pleasantry. We were there for Octoberfest last year. The house is not located to far from that location, we could not walk there. Beautifully decorated, loved our stay!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Breeh house last December and it was absolutely magical. Walking into the home was like taking a trip back in time. I felt like I was staying at my grandma's house. It was nostalgic and very comfortable. The beds were surprisingly comfortable as well. I was able to stay in and watch a few of the movies stored at the house. I was also suprised at how large the rooms were. This was a beautiful home tucked away off of the main street but still walking distance to the square. I felt safe, comfortable, and happy that I made the decision to stay here at the Breeh Haus.

Opened back door and dirty dishes in sink with a towel thrown on counter. back bed was not clean, sheets were very dirty and pillow cases were dirty. There was no milk for out of date cereal nor yogurt even . Very disappointing.

The location is handy but very noisy. The house just is not cozy like most of the guesthouses (we have stayed in many). There were two refrigerators yet no ice. But, I am just being asked for feedback on my "recent visit" and that visit was over a yr ago...so maybe things have improved...but bet the traffic noise has not.

The house had charm but the toilet would not flush. We cld the owner who did have it fixed that day. Also, there were four of us. My partner and I had the front bedroom. It was very loud with traffic noise late into the night and early the next morning. Did not get much sleep.

This was our first house rental and it will not be our last. the house was clean, cozy and had lots of charm...yet offered modern entertainment and cooking facilities to make our stay comfortable and homey.
