Only three blocks from Main Street this private limestone rock home is a romantic haven for two or an ideal getaway for two couples traveling together.
The long front porch offers not only a table and chair, but also a comfortable antique sofa. Inside the living room relax on the cushioned antique wood loveseat and two wing backed chairs placed to enjoy the enhanced HD cable programming on the 32-inch flat screen television and HD DVD player, which sit on an antique medicine cabinet. There is a wood stove (limited firewood) framed by limestone rock. High pitched bead board ceilings, wood floors and an array of tasteful antiques create a... special aura of combining the old with the new. Unique copper shutters covering the windows filter the hill country mornings light.
The full kitchen is open to the living room and is fully equipped. The stainless steel cookware and full array of utensils and dinnerware allow those epicurean-minded souls the tools to be creative. The décor in the kitchen is a decorator’s delight with the tile countertops and pine cabinets. An antique table seats four. Enjoy the arrow-backed oak bar stools while sitting at the bar that opens into the kitchen from the living room. The bar also makes a comfortable spot to log in to your laptop with the complimentary Wi-Fi internet access.
A king bed is found in the master bedroom topped a floral quilt and fluffy pillows. Soothing pastels of linens and fabrics lend a pastoral quality to this tranquil room. The adjacent bath showcases a claw foot tub with handheld shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds also topped with quilts and the adjacent bath has a shower. Both bedrooms have large closets for both hanging clothes and suitcases. The twin bedroom also has a small television with cable and VCR and many VHS movies.
Your hosts created this newly built home with both comfort and luxury in mind, and have reinforced the warm elegance they strived for. There are many awesome features in this home from the tile in the kitchen to the leaded glass in the bath that will make your stay memorable.

We love Crepe Mrytle Cottage. We've stayed there three times and will use them whenever they're available. The home is well maintained with a hill country decor and the hosts provide every amenity imaginable, from high speed wireless internet, to cable TV, even snacks for late night munchies.

Very cute doll house feel. All you need are your clothes. This house is so comfortable and inviting. The owners supply everything you might need for your stay. If you want to cook just bring the food, they have everything you might need to prepare and cook the meal. The bathroom is equiped with shampoo, etc in case you forget yours. There are robes in the closet. They even supply a nice relaxing back yard to set under trees and visit with a cup or coffee or glass of wine. Loved it!

It was perfect for my sister-in- law and me for our shopping weekend. The dvd was a little difficult to work but the owner of the house was great at calling us right back and walking us through it. We would stay there again with out a doubt!!!
Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing.

We enjoyed very much staying at Crepe Myrtle Cottage. Check-in could not have been easier or more efficient. The house is well-located in a quiet area and very comfortable. The furnishings were delightful. We will definitely stay here again.

The cottage is well equipped and has many fine features. We booked this for a working vacation and required wireless internet. The correct password for the wireless was in a cabinet and the instructions on the wall had a different password that didn't work for our computers. We didn't look for additional instructions, but rather tried to use the ones we found. It took a couple of hour and several calls to locate the owners to get it all worked out. Hopefully they have fixed this.
