The Das Fritz haus was just a great little house to stay
in for the size of Family we had to accomadate everyone.
All was very nice for us when we arrived.
It is set away from the main drag in Fredericksburg and located in a nice neighborhood. Which we enjoyed.
I was sad to make a one day trip this past fall to see
a for sale sign in front of the house. Did it sale???

It did sell, but the new owners are keeping it in the service. They've changed some furniture and done some painting. It will be better than ever!

We loved it! The house was very welcoming. It was well kept and clean upon arrival. The house had a homey feel to it, with a country type decor. The owners had left Frederckburg area brochures on the coffee table to help guests find where to go and what to do. Lots of games and toys for a family to enjoy.
The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of seating. We enjoyed sitting on the porch. For older visitors,the house was not within a comfortable walking distance of the Main Street. But, a short car trip gets you right to the heart of town. We were very happy with our choice of rentals, and there are so many to choose from. We would love to return for another visit to this Das Fritz Haus. -

Loved the house very well decorated and kept up. Would love to go back again. Great location and very nice company rents them out. The location was not too far from Main Street and all of the shopping. It is a very roomy house that can fit more than one family. Beds are comfortable and big rooms.

Five girlfriends had a retreat in this three bedroom, two bath home. The arrangement worked well for us and there was plenty of cozy room to sit and visit even in the kitchen. We were a short drive into downtown, in a quiet neighborhood location where we enjoyed our morning walk together through shady streets. We shared making late night snacks and breakfast in the well equipped kitchen. It was a very comfortable time for us all.

The house was nice but I had to clean it before we felt at home. The floors were too slick when you mop them. Otherwise, it was a nice place to stay for the short time we were there.

Das Fritz house was great. We had 6 adults and 1 baby in our group. The garage has been converted into a suite with it's own entrance and bathroom which worked out great for the couple with the baby. Would also be great for a girl weekend. We would definitely rent this house again.
