A Star in the Hills guest house is a cozy upstairs cottage just three blocks from historic downtown Fredericksburg. Enjoy the relaxing patio and yard perfect for reading a book or sharing a bottle of wine.
This guest house features wonderful woodwork and hardwood floors. Your host is a master woodworker and is responsible for the trim, floors and star motif. He also crafted the table, bed, benches and cabinet. Your hostess is gifted in fabric handcrafting and decorating and has created all of the window and table covering plus all of the decorations found in the suite. Cute little one room rental great for a couple wanting to get away. The location was within walking distance of downtown and was very convenient. Host was very friendly but mostly stayed out of our way and us them. Parking was close but make sure you leave room for the hosts. Shower was a little unusual but functional. We'd certainly stay there again!

A Star in the Hills was such a cute cottage. The room had everything you could need. The fresh baked goodies were so yummy! We only wished for more and a longer stay!

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in Fredericksburg. The room was extremely clean, organized, and comfortable. Everything about the stay was positive. I would recommend teh B&B; to anyone that asked.

Loved this Bed & Breakfast! It was spotless and so cozy and comfortable! We had homemade pastries every morning made by the host and they were wonderful!! Every day it was such a treat along with coffee, juice water and sodas left for us. All the comforts you would need were there - plush towels, microwave, refridgerator, movies, comfortable bed, always peace and quiet.
