we discovered that the front door key did not unlock the patio door. thank goodness some passerby's came up the stairs (we had to drop them the front door key) and unlocked the door for us from inside.
Otherwise the amenities were pretty good. there was some issue w/the shower but it's been too long ago to remember what. -

The angel Inn was a wonderful quaint little place situated above the shops in downtown Fredericksburg. It was walking distance to the Museum, dining and nightlife. Although we were in midst of all the activity, there was absolute no noise inside. The balcony overlooking the streets and shops was perfect for early morning coffee, people watching and a relaxing glass of wine. I would recommend the angel Inn to all my friends and we will definitely be returning.

Husband and I stayed at angel inn in Fredericksburg, TX and we absolutely loved it. We are planning to stay there again for our next anniversary, we would highly recommend this. We loved the location and how everything we wanted to do was in walking distance.

We really enjoyed sitting out on the porch for morning coffee and an evening glass of wine before going out to eat. The parade of antique cars was quite fun to watch. But, I have allergies and the rooms needed to be aired. They smelled quite musty. The railing on the stairs up to the apartment cannot be trusted. We are an older couple and carrying bags down the stairs was a little harrowing. On the other hand the place is very roomy and the bed quite comfortable.

Lots of neat things to look at in the unit. Don't expect anything modern, this is decorated with the elderly eye. A little bit of "Angel Overkill", but some very neat pieces as well. Outstanding location, with a porch overlooking the quaint main street. The location is the clear winner here.

The angel Inn is an idyllic respite for 2 in the heart of Fredericksburg. Right next to fantastic interior design shops and in the heart of the excitement. We loved the decor, the master bedroom and the fabulous stained glass angel door into the master bath. Sitting on the porch in the evening and for coffee in the morning was also extra special. Would love to come back!!!

We have stayed at angel Inn maybe 3 times. What attracted us to angel Inn was the location. We wanted to stay on Main Street during December to see all the lights. The balcony is a huge plus. The room toward the back cut down on the traffic noise at night. The last time we stayed at angel Inn was during the 4th of July parade. That was great. Location, location, location. The room was clean. We kept some soap that says 'Angel Inn' and have it in our bathroom at home in California as a decoration.
