My wife and i stayed here for a weekend. It is very quiet place and the stars are very visible at night We saw wildlife in the field below the cabin. The owners are very nice, the place is smallish but very clean. We will stay again.

Rooster Springs was a nice getaway for my mother, grandmother and I over Mother's Day weekend. It was clean and fresh and had thoughtful amenities to make our stay enjoyable!
It could be a little bit hard for someone with disabilities or an older person. My grandmother was 86 at the time and did pretty well. You park and then walk a short distance to the back entrance of the house and up the stairs.
It was a little ways out of town, so you will have a small drive back in to town if that's what you are interested in. However, we enjoyed just driving the back roads and viewing all the beautiful Texas Hill Country scenery. -

I loved our time @ Rooster Springs- it was soo relaxing and peaceful. The hot tub was nice. Every morning we would sit on the large porch with coffee and listen to all the birds, and breezes blowing through the trees.Can't wait to go back.

Having never rented from this group before, we didn't know what to expect, but as we rounded the bend and gradually came up on the property, we were thrilled! Seeing the clean, nicely decorated, home, the hot tub under the stars, fireplace, big front poarch and comfortable beds, we knew we had found the right place for our get-away. To add to our pleasant arrival, we noticed the 2 wine glasses with a bottle of wine and note to welcome us! I can hardly wait to return to this wonderful place!

We have stayed in literally dozens of different b&b;'s and each time I look for things the owners could have done better about providing their guests. I have to say this is the first time not one stone was left unturned! There was white wine chilling in the fridge, red wine (in case you prefer red over white) on the table with two wine glasses & opener ready & waiting our arrival. Then there were appetizers/snacks prepared (that's never happened!). Fully stocked kitchen, living room, front porch and access to the hot tub were all waiting for our arrival. I will warn you, however, that the owners live in the house within arm's length but we never even caught a glimpse of them nor heard one peep out of them. They give you your complete privacy, just as promised unless you need something. Not even a bark out of their dogs! The views are gorgeous! And if you bring your own groceries you'll not want or need to go anywhere.
