Wonderful Girls Weekend!

We stayed at the Lodge with 8 girls for a college reunion of sorts. It was a blast! The house was clean and beautiful and huge! We were very comfortable with 8 girls in the house.
The kitchen was stocked with silverware, utensils, cups and plates. There is a coffee maker and toaster. They even recycle!
There are 3 full bathrooms which was crucial for a group of 8 women. The patio area was beautiful, and the property was charming. There is a creek and benches you can sit on right behind the house. We saw a duck and her ducklings walking around the creek.
I will definitely stay here again! Daniel, the landlord was excellent!! An incredibly friendly guy (with musical talent). -

My wife and I stayed at the Mesquite Farmhouse March 14th through 17th, 2013 along with out two dogs Daisy Dukes and Cassandra Dee. We had resqued Cassandra from the austin animal Clinic, Dec. 27th 2011. She was abused and had been very fearfull and slowly moving away from that fear over the past year. She loved it! I have not seen her as excited to to walk the path and hang out with us in the back of the Mesquite Farm House at Barons Creekside. This is a very nice place with several different types of log cabins when you first arrive in Fredericksburg, TX.
This actual cabin is the most secluded, priviate with an outside hot tub and even though the fishing hole is not what was expected (not much fishing from what I am used to), the entire trail by the creek and brousing the grounds was extremely nice and elegant. If you wanted a great place to visit with family or a get together with old friends, this is the place to stay. There is a firepit and BBQ pit in the back of this cabin and the views are spectacular. -

My parents and I had an amazing time: cabins, nature, relaxing and especially Daniel's service were excellent.
the cabins are appointed with incredible nice antique details - a must experience!
