Cross Mountain Retreat is located about one mile from Main Street in Fredericksburg in a quiet residential neighborhood. There are two suites that are rented separately. They are separated by a breezeway and each has beautifully appointed king beds, fireplaces, seating areas, an indoor whirlpool with a separate glass shower, a minibar with microwave and refrigerator, a private patio with an outdoor shower and a backyard hot-tub for 4 people. Soft, fluffy robes are provided. This is a fun, quiet, romantic retreat for couples to spend a get-away together! Wonderful shopping, dining and sight-seeing awaits you in Fredericksburg.

Cross Mountain Retreat is 1 mile from all of the excitement of downtown Fredericksburg, but located on the last city street before the city limits, so it is quiet and peaceful. There is ample off street parking. It is a separate house located on 1/2 acre. The back yard hot top has private fencing surrounding it so it is a fun place to sit and enjoy the night sky in privacy. The main road to the house is also the road that goes out to Enchanted Rock State Park, where one of the most beautiful natural areas in Texas for hiking and climbing is located.

Left on 01/24/2013 for a stay in December 2012
My fiance and I rented both suites over the holidays for his parents and for us. The two suites have great character: one is a bit more modern and the other more rustic. They both have a great fireplace and jacuzzi tub and shower. Also, the bedding and beds are really high quality and comfortable. The rooms each have a mini fridge and a coffee maker, so bring a few things to snack on and drink (bring your own bottle opener). We loved sitting in the outdoor hot tub and looking up at the stars. The house is about a 20 minute drive to the famous Luckenback Dance hall too!
We would definitely stay here again.
