Description from the owner
This spacious (1200 sq ft) one bedroom one bath condo is so close to the water that you could throw a rock from the gallery and hit the ocean! Needless to say, the views are incredible and the sound of the waves will lull you to sleep each night in the king-sized tempurpedic bed. The unit is in a very small complex; only 18 units here - so no crowds at the pool or at the beach. You can walk down the beach to a great restaurant/bar (Sand Castles on the Beach's SeaSide Cafe) and experience some great snorkeling right off the shore in front of the condo. If you want to bring friends, there is a sofa sleeper in the unit too, along with a ful...Read more

Bradenton, FloridaWow, this is beach living!"

If you are looking for the perfect romantic beach get away, this is it. Not only is this property right on the beach (truly on the beach), but it is beautifully furnished, has amazing sunset views and the owner has it stocked with a great selection of rums, spices and all of the little details that make it perfect. The open air nature of the property affords gorgeous Caribbean turquiose views all day and the sounds of waves on the beach to fall asleep to at night. Short drive from the airport (but no plane noise) and a 2 minute drive into Frederiksted. We had the good fortune of helping baby turtles hatch and make it to the water right in front of this condo and we walked the beach every morning collecting unique shells and enjoying the tranquility of this long, quiet beach.
And to top it off, there is a phenomenal restaurant just a short walk from the property called Sand Castles, where we had amazingly fresh seafood and great wine. -

We were in St. Croix for a week in april checking out the island for the first time. The first morning we watch a cruise ship dock at the pier. The view from the condo is spectacular. Everyday we took off for different activities around the island and were always so glad to come "home" to our beautiful condo on the water in Fredriksted. The beach right in front of our unit was perfect for swimming, walking and the reef within 2 feet of the beach had unbelieve reef fish, blue tang etc. right there for the viewing. The other residents were very friendly and considerate and the condo was spacious, beautifully furnished and equipped for every need. We discovered that we preferred Fredriksted and should we decide to move to St. Croix would buy on that side of the island. Thanks Kim for a great visit.

Sunset Suite on the quiet west end of St. Croix is one mile south of Fredricksted. The condo has a wonderful layout with a screened gallery overlooking the beautiful sea letting in a soothing breeze. A security fence surrounds the building for safety and a property manager is on site. The bed is comfortable and the condo beautifully decorated. You can walk down the beach to a nice restraunt. The food intown at Blue Moon is fabulous and the beach bars north of town are pictuer perfect. The beach in front of the condo is quiet and uncrowded with good snorkeling. What a relaxing plcae to stay.

Sunset Suite was very relaxing. We really had an awesome stay. The Property was in an great secluded location, which is what I was looking for, and right on the beach. Best value. It was definitely a home away from home.

Eugene, OregonThe best time ever!!
Left on 06/02/2011 for a stay in May 2011
We had the best time ever!! My wife and I had not had a real vacation in years. We just seem to chase the kids around but this was just for us no kiddos. We spent a lot of our time at Cane Bay Dive Shop and eat@Cane Bay. We logged 2-3 dives a day. The rest of the time we spent sitting on the couch in the gallery just looking out over the ocean!
Thank You Kim your home was awesome!! -

Beaverton, ORQuiet, Comfortable and all the amenities

If your name is not Rockefeller, then this place is for you. For a 1 Bdrm condo, the living space is huge. And Kim outdid herself by leaving behind "everything? that you need for your stay. From bathroom to kitchen to bar. Yes I said open bar with a wide selection of distilled spirits.
The atlantic is less than 100' away, security is maximum (w/an onsite property mgr) and less than a mile S of Frederiksted. Several mornings we would walk to Polly's for a latte or on occasion Pier 69 for a Bloody Mary. (Can't drink in the condo all the time)
The unit had full Cable TV, free WiFi so you know that you can be in touch with the outside world.
The one thing that I will remember about St. C is that the restaurants are a+++. That includes the bars on the beaches.
While there we ate at the following F'stad locations (& highly recommend all): Lost Dog (Pizza), Pier 69, Blue Moon, Sandcastle (directly next to this condo)
And the rest of SC: Angry Nates, Rum Runners, Ft. Christian Brewery and Duggans (my personal favorite)
Also ran into Big Beard who is a fellow former Oregonian who owned a business near our home neighborhood. Take his boat to Buck Is to snorkel.
In the 2 weeks we were there, the power only went out once (during the Packer/Falcon game) Packers did win the Super Bowl so all came out OK.
The one negative is the sugar ants. They came out whenever food (sugar) was around. These ant are a fact of life in the Usvi and food storage should be kept in the Fridge.
Except for the ants, this condo gets my highest recommendation. Thanks Kim!
