My Townhouses are located at Cannes Village, of which I am the developer. The property is comprised of 18 privately owned townhouses directly on the most beautiful, white sand beach in Freeport. The units have been completely refurnished and everything is new. It has a balcony off the living room overlooking the beach, and ocean. There is a private pool with lounge chairs available to all. The downstairs level has a full kitchen, with everything, a dining area with 6 chairs, a living room that opens to a patio directly on the ocean ( 80 feet away!) We are located on the south side of Grand Bahama Island on the most beautiful white sand beach on the island! You can swim, snorkel, fish,
search for shells, or just chill. Down the beach one can rent a jet ski, go para-sailing or eat fresh fish or conch at an "on the beach" barbecue.
Next door to use are 2 full service restaurants and bars and a convenience stores. Across the street is a full service Marina that rents boats, jet skis dive equipment and will take you fishing, diving or glass bottom boat cruising. There is a scooter rental, car rental, taxi stand and a local bus stop aqlso.

We did a considerable amount of research before choosing where to stay in Grand Bahamas, and based on all the information we reviewed Mike and Diana's townhouse was the best. After staying there 8 days we can confidently state that Mike and Diana's townhouse is better than the best! The saying is so true of this place: location, location, location! Mike and Diana, as well as Catherine Sands their manager, were such a pleasure to deal with, very informative, and answered every question we had. Indeed, very special people. The townhouse exceeded the pictures on line! Just an absolute incredible location! 50 feet if that to the ocean, with the back yard beautifully edged with rock edge for wonderful privacy and yet full view of the ocean. In addition, the townhouse had every accommodation you could possibly want or need. A special thanks needs to be given to Catherine. Shortly before the trip I hurt my achilles tendon, and walking through the airports put it over the edge. I asked Catherine if she knew where I could purchase a wheelchair, and the next thing I knew she came over with a wheel chair she got from her sister for me to use, on her own time, way after her working hours! She is amazing, and we were so blessed to meet her and for her to do this. In this world a rare special caring person, which I is true of Mike and Diane, and no surprise that Catherine is part of their enterprise! We want to say thank you Mike, Diane, and Catherine for the vacation of a life time, you are the best! Best wishes always!

My family stayed at the condo for one week over winter break and we had an excellent time. The location was ideal for us. There are two bedrooms and three bathrooms. You can comfortably fit 5-6 people there. All the amenities we needed were there. It was very homey. Everything we needed was close by. The grocery store was only a few streets away, most of our activities were close by and the beach was right in front of us. Waking up to the view of the beach every morning was great. It is really a great location, not too secluded and not too crowded which was great. The resort next door was also very helpful in scheduling activities which was perfect. I know my family had an excellent time and we cant wait to visit again.

water was perfect, the best snorkeling on the island is just to the right across the channel. you feel like your snorkeling in an aquarium! just beware of lion fish by the rocks. good for eating though if you like fishing!
the condo was well stocked and very nice, but bring your own ziplock bags, they are $7 for 20 of the crappiest bags ever if you buy them down there. also make sure you wear bug repellent once the sun starts setting or you'll get a million sand flea bites.Response from Mike & Diana Rubin - 08/24/2011

Glad you had a great time! We love the beach and snorkeling and diving also. It is interesting that some things branded, like "ZipLock" bags are much more expensive. The sand fleas are only around
in the late summer and seem to come and go with the wet weather.

It had been suggested to me in the past to consider a vacation rental for my next family vacation. It was the best decision I ever made to stay at this wonderful townhouse right on the beach. The view when you first come around the building is stunning! We were presently surprised to walk into a large, clean townhouse with all of the amenities that a family needs. We were able to go to the local grocery store to stock up on food to prepare in the kitchen. The beach is awesome, the ocean view magnificent. The whole time we were there, the weather was fantastic too! The only complaints I have about this place was that the climb up the stairs is pretty steep and tiresome. Also, we had issues with the t.v. and the upstairs shower in the master bedroom only provided us with very cold water. The bed was not very comfortable, but that was overshadowed by the fantastic ocean breeze every night. Aside from those cons, this was the best family vacation we've had and we would consider staying here again in a heartbeat! Thanks to Mike and Diana for a wonderful experience!

We rented one unit and our friends the unit next to us. Manager met us within 20 minutes of our arrival with the keys and instructions. Units were clean and had everything to make our stay comfortable. The location is beautiful and somewhat secluded. Best for the traveler that doesnt want to be right on top of lots of action. The water was clean and clear and shallow for quite a ways out. The pool was clean and warm with lots of lounge chairs. Bus stop within walking distance (which you will want to use at only a $1 per person). The resort next door provides a convenience store, nice pool, hot tub, volleyball and jet ski rentals right on the beach. The food was also great at their restaurant. Butler's food market is nearby for grocery items but be prepared to pay triple than what you do in the states. We will be back to this exact spot as it was a great deal and a perfect location! In comparison to other beaches on the island, we preferred this location. No sand fleas!! People were friendly all around this beach and outside of the resort as well. We felt very safe at all times! The apartment manager has a brother that runs tours and will taxi for you at very reasonable rates - use him as he was a wealth of information! Don't look any further- this is the best place! Traveled with teens, a 4 yr old and a 6 yr old - all loved it!
