Thank you for a wonderful place to stay, the apartment is beautiful, quiet and serene. The view is
outstanding and we hate leaving and we can't wait to return and see the clubhouse once it's open.
We rented a car and had a wonderful time time touring the island. We loved Port Lucaya Market place with all the shops and restaurants.
The best thing was the washer and dryer in the apartment. But my favorite was the seclusion it brings and being able to reconnect with my husband in peace and quiet after his tour in afganistan.

We had a wonderful short stay at Dolphin Cove. It was everything we needed: relaxing, quiet, clean, and the apartment came with everything (except a broom!). The driver Paddy is great and will take you grocery shopping. The area is a little deserted but seems safe. We enjoyed looking at all the cute homes and tropical plants in peoples' yards as we walked to Lucaya Marketplace. The beach is also great- we walked just past the reserved part to the left to a section of beach that was never occupied. It was like our own private stretch of beach and ocean!

We enjoyed our stay, and meeting Ken. The condo is spacious, well outfitted with brand new appliances and you step right out to the pool and canal. The extras like in-room wifi and bikes on premises came in very handy. They make the visit really stand out over any cramped hotel experience with hidden costs.
Gbi has pretty good terrain diversity and it felt very relaxed and uncrowded even though it was in the height of spring break. Hope to make another trip back next year and try it in the summer. Again, thank you, Ken, for your hospitality. -

I actually stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and it was really nice. Very quiet, clean and friendly. It is close to everything. You have your own private belcony overlooking the canal. You can see the sunrise every morning while you have your coffee on the belcony and watch the fish jumping out of the water. The condo was very modern. Highly recommend!

I have been going to the Bahamas for the last 25 years but Dolphin Cove is by far the most relaxing,clean and private. The condo itself was top notch and very spacious. It contained everything you would need to make your stay enjoyable. There are no phones in the condo so make sure you bring your magicjacks or cel phones, but the wi-fi worked great so you could use your computers. I had friends over and had Bbq's and happy hours around the poolside, they loved it! If you needed anything, The owners, Ken and Cheri, were only a phone call away and more than willing to help you out. The resort is centrally located and just minutes away from the beach, shopping and nightlife. I would highly recommend Dolphin Cove to anyone!!!

My wife and me have spent 6 days over Christmas in appartment 102 at Dolphins Cove. Don't know where to start first because it was amazing! Ken and Sherry are extraordinary friendly and pleasant hosts who do everything that you feel maximum comfortable and help wherever they can. We arrived during their absence but everything was perfectly organized to get to appartment. The appartment itself is a cosy but superb equiped place (huge and modern kitchen, washing machine, dryer, TV set with hundreds of channels, high-speed Wifi). The furniture is very nice, modern, comfortable and every single peace is of a very high quality standard. That's Swiss like! I think it's self explanatory that it is super-clean and very spacious. Ken and Sherry are currently finishing a lounge / restaurant next the appartments and we have been able to get a glimpse: I'm sure that this will become one of the most homey places in Freeport for enjoying exquisite wines, drinks and food and just relaxing in an outstanding atmosphere, feeling like visiting good friends.
Overall, it felt a litlle bit like arrving at home each time we came back every day entering our appartment. So we can fully recommend this accommodation and will/would go there again. -

We were using my parents time share to exchange to Island Seas Resort, but when we got there we were utterly disgusted with it. We found Ken on Vrbo and he was very prompt in coming to the resque. We immediately checked out of Island Seas after one night with a full refund from our timeshare and into Dolphin Cove aparments and never looked back.
Ken Saved our honeymoon. We were overly pleased with the cleanliness and quality of the apartment and grounds. It is very comforable and cozy. Ken was very friendly and helped us find places to visit around the Island.
The location is great. Central to everything and just down the road from Port Lucaya, which we visited frequently for the restaurants. We loved using the kitchen with great appliances and found everything we needed. The WiFi and TVs were awesome to come home to. Although you have to use some tricks to be able to watch Netflix and amazon Instant videos while in the Bahamas.
Ken has a great vision for this place and we would recomend the apartments to anyone. It will only get better as he continues to work on the grounds. Thanks for saving our honeymoon Ken! -

I looked at several apartments on Tripadvisor before settling on this one (#202). The others I viewed looked old and dated compared to this one.
I was happy with the choice. The apartment was exactly like the pictures and was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the appliances: Fridge, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier and 2 satellite TVs were top notch.
Ken was very helpful with any questions I had. While detailed welcome instructions (for the gate code, internet access etc), would have been nice he quickly had the answers for these.
If you are into diving Grand Bahamas Scuba is less than 3 minutes drive away. The shops are about 5 minutes drive away. The beach is about a 10 minutes easy walk. So overall a good location.
Overall strong recommendation from me. -

What a great time we had on our vacation to Freeport. We are frequent travelers staying most times in vacation rental properties. This was one of our best experiences. Ken the owner
was there when we arrived and gave us the tour of the place. It was beautiful, everything was new and modern with great furnishings really nice. The one thing that really made me happy was how clean the apartment was. Ken gave us a run down of things to do and we used the website for reference. We then began a 1 week vacation full of rest and relaxation. We enjoyed some of the most beautiful isolated beaches I have ever seen. Thanks Ken and we will definitely recommend your place to our friends..

My daughter and I had the pleasure of staying at Dolphin Cove for a week in april. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The condo was beautiful, very modern, well equiped and extremely clean.The pool was relaxing and the beautiful beach was just a short walk away.
Ken, the owner, met us upon arrival and made us feel right at home. He was very helpful in helping us plan day trips and had great advice about restaurants in the area. He was never more then a email away if we needed anything. I would not hesitate in recomending Dolphin Cove to anyone!

My wife and I enjoyed our stay in Freeport. Our condo had everthing a person could possibly need while on vacation (i.e. clean facilities, security gate, pool, fully equiped kitchen, internet access, and a great location).
The accommodations were luxurious and was only a 5 minute drive from the Lucaya Marketplace which is were you can find souvenirs, restaurants, and bars. The only downside to staying at a condo rather than a resort is that alot of the motorized sports are more readily accessible to resort patrons. However, @ Taino beach we were able to rent chairs for only $5, get a strong pina coloda, and enjoy kayaking and paddle boating free of charge. Overall we had a great experience at Freeport and intend on visiting again. -

We had a great time at Dolphin apartments. The room makes you feel you are staying in a luxury suite w Privacy. We had a little trouble when we got to the place because of lack of Cell phone service (nobody was around), but after 10 min realized door was open w Keys inside. Once settled, Ken even drove back to airport to get me a car to rent- plus his website and his suggestions were spot-on. The apartment was impeccable. So nice inside, w modern amenities galore. Location is 3 min drive to Port Lucaya, and on a canal, so very nice. Liked best: Driving to East End, Bahama John's (recommended by Ken), Lucayan National Park, Bahamas Defence Force Band, Taino and Barbary Beach. Liked least: Limited toilet paper (only one roll per bathroom) and Bishop's Point (not recommended by Ken). Would definitely recommend.
