Been twice now, once for honeymoon and once with the kids. If your after a taste of France this is for you, blokes in stripey shirts with onions around their necks (really!), markets, boulangerie, fish shops, patisserie, bars where the locals start drinking at 10am (but in a civilised manner) all within a stones throw. Superb vinyards all around with tasting! Loads of restaurants most of which are surprisingly reasonable.
The property is very well equipped and furnished and the sunroof is probably where you will spend most of your time, as it has a beer fridge and a barbeque. Loads of stuff for kids/teens to do and not too far from the beach at San Rafael. Excellent value all round. -

Lovely apartment in the old square in Frejus. Well equipped, comfortable and within easy access of buses/trains to Cannes, Nice and the whole coast. The beach is a 25 minute walk or take a bus, roughly every hour (or less) £1.10
Easy to get to via Nice, bus station 25 metres from airport terminal.
Would thoroughly recommend. -

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment which is attractively furnished and very well equipped with a great roof terrace overlooking the historic town square which provided plenty of local colour. It's proximity to shops and a good choice of restaurants but within walking distance of the beach was ideal. A good train service made it easy to visit other places of interest in the area. This would be a good choice for a holiday at any time of the year. Highly recommended.

We are regular visitors to this comfortable, homely apartment. Overlooking the old town square, the location is quite unique and different to a typical seaside holiday. Excellent restaurants in walking distance, no parking problems and a twice weekly market ensure we will return year after year.

My two boys (8 and 17) and myself spent an excellent week at this property in Frejus last year, where we all had an excellent time due to the location, the amenities and our luck with the weather. The house was comfortable, clean and provided all the domestic items we required, with the upstairs lounge and sun terrace being our favourite place to "chill". We spent a couple of hours each day on the beach and exploring the Frejus Plage which was only a twenty minute walk (5 min drive) from the property. There were local shops (and a market setting up outside the house twice a week) which provided a good range of fresh supplies, with major shopping centres and supermarkets within 10 min drive, which were cheaper with a wider selection (important with two hungry boys in tow!) We tried a good number of the local restaurants and cafes for treats, which also provided an excellent opportunity for my eldest to practice his french! The local area has a strong roman connection (with a museum in the square) and there are many activities to do within 15 min drive. However, the superb looking waterpark was not open until June, which puzzled us because it was warm enough for us to swim in the Med, but we are from Scotland, so it felt like early summer to us! Although the property met all of our needs, I have one negative point which I feel I should make, which was the internal stone stairs up to the property from the street were quite steep, combined with the building height and open nature of the sun terrace, would stop me recommending this property for very young kids (3 and under), that said though, I have recommended this property to friends and family as we three had a great time and will return again soon, thanks very much.

Edinburgh, United KingdomExcellent way to experience the Cote d'Azur
Left on 05/24/2011 for a stay in August 2010
Over the last 10 to 15 years our family has visited the apartment in Frejus several times and have nothing but praise for the apartment in Frejus. The apartment is perfectly located at the top of the town square with superb views of the market , which you can experience daily life and decide what to eat, from the comfort your own balcony or by mingling with the locals. The apartment itself is always beautifully maintained and decorated to a high standard and provides a cool retreat when the weather is particularly hot.
If you want to visit the surrounding area such as the beach or St.Raphael they are a short walk and even shorter bus ride away. Places such as Cannes and St. Tropez are easily accessable by bus or train, which you can access all the info you need from the tourist information in the town or the apartment's welcome pack.
The town itself has a range of great places to eat for most budgets so you can enjoy fine dining to an inexpensive 'plat du jour'.
All in all I would thoroughly recommend this holiday apartment to everyone wishing to experience life in the south of France. Excellent place, excellent value for money, excellent holiday. -

Prince George, BCGreat apartment with terrace on market square
Left on 05/23/2011 for a stay in May 2010
This apartment is very nicely-furnished and overlooks the historic central square of Frejus. Views are best appreciated from the sunny terrace - the best on the square (even included a refrigerator!). We enjoyed our 2-week stay immensely and would return in a heartbeat.
There are stairs to climb in the building and it's a bit of a walk to the beach or the larger shops so people with mobility problems might find this rental challenging.
Frejus offers free parking about 2 minutes' walk from the apartment. It's a delightful town that's well-worth visiting.
