      Big, comfortable house with artful decor.

      We rented the three bedroom Serendipity Cottage, which is spacious and well-equipped for six adults. Each room is filled with interested art and the kitchen provides all of the dishes and utensils needed for cooking. The manager, Vesta Saville, is on hand next door if needed. It's in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance of downtown and the casino. A nice getaway!

      Really enjoy my stay there. Very friendly staff, extremely clean, convenient location. Looking forward to my next vist. I will stay there everytime I go to the French Lick area!!! Very nice cute community. Convenient location in relation to the French Lick Resort. Close enough to town for dinner. Just like being at home!!

      Over-priced, old and needs a good cleaning.

      This is the first negative review I have written. I rented this property for a girl's getaway. It was expensive for one night, approximately $700. The house was not clean. Dust, cobwebs and dirt were everywhere. The windows were filthy. The tub did not work in one of the bathrooms. Several of the window air conditioning units were not functioning properly. One of the bedrooms is so small you can't bend over without bumping the wall. The shower is very tiny, too. The beds were old and not comfortable. There were several broken chairs. The only plus is the yard is nicely landscaped, but no recreation like a pool or outdoor games available. We were told that our stay included a continental breakfast. Noone came to set up a breakfast. And, all we could find to eat was a package of outdated banana bread and some stale cereal. We did not eat it. We were asked in a note to tie up our garbage and take it with us. I travel quite a bit and that was the first time I had ever heard that request. I would not recommend this property. You can stay at the West Baden or French Lick resort for about the same $ and have access to all the amenties those resorts offer.
