Madrona house is beautiful. The views throughout almost the entire house are spectacular. The main room is really large and very comfortable. In the Master Bedroom the Master Closet was not accessible, so this should be removed from the list of amenities. The guest bedroom bed is really, really soft and saggy and uncomfortable and defintely needs to be replaced. Both bathrooms in the house were spacious and we loved the fact that there was laundry available in the guest bath. The house is situated on a wonderfully wooded quiet street. We loved the location and the Haro Strait views. A huge pod of Orcas swam by the house on our last day about 15 minutes before we were scheduled to depart amazing! We will definitely be back.

There was nothing left to chance in this simple cabin, everything felt comfortable and spacious without being a deluxe accommodation. We will return!!

Madrona House has the most excellent location and facilities.
We did have to contact the manager since the garbage container was overflowing, and they came the same day to fix the problem. That was good.
We were pleased to see that there was a new BBQ at Madrona house, but then disappointed that there was no gas.
The supplies in the kitchen were pretty good, but there weren't any side plates so the butter, for example, had to be put in a bowl or a large dinner plate. Not the worst problem to have, but easily rectified I would think.
Because the sunsets are so beautiful, we never wanted to have dinner out! That's why the kitchen/cooking facilities are so important.
We saw orcas almost every day from the house. We hope we can come again. We had a great time.
