The Garden House is a wonderful three bedroom house surrounded by gardens and fields. It is situated in the middle of Oak Knoll Farm, a 30 acre farm reserve. The house is warm and inviting, with an open floor plan, spacious window seats and cathedral ceilings. The setting is peaceful with lots of space, gorgeous views to the west over San Juan Valley and south across False Bay to the Olympic Mountains. The beautifully designed gardens are a very popular spot for the local birds. There is a fruit orchard, a pond, a ridge covered with Garry oaks and pines where bald eagles nest.

It is a 3 minute drive / 20 minute walk to False Bay, a 10 minute drive to Lime Kiln or American Camp Parks for whale watching, hiking and enjoying the beach.

We had the most wonderful time in the Garden House. We stayed for one week in mid March. Spring time. Trees had few leaves, but there were flowers exploding everywhere. The house itself is really very comfortable and is amazingly well equipped. We were only 3 people and all stayed in one of the upstairs bedroom - the one with the amazing views west out over the valley and the Olympics. We love the sheep, the horses, and the wide open fields. And the bald eagles were busy impressing each other - it was spring time after all. That was just amazing. Anyway, it is such a great, spacious, and at the same time cozy place. Go check it out. You will love it. Oh, and the owners are really great as well.
