The quiet, clean and spacious apartment is set in a small and secure complex of 12 apartments. It is located on the edge of the old town giving it a perfect location for walks into the beautiful countryside.

Apartment is spotlessly clean, and very well equipped with 2 fans, and all the pots and pans, crockery etc you could wish for. The double bed is very firm but very comfortable. The sofas are rather soft but that is a personal thing. Unfortunately whilst we were there the pool was out of use, and the indoor is unheated during the summer months. However Damian did arrange for us to have use of a super pool about 8/10 mins walk away , given the heat, we drove to this pool and had no problems parking. Aside of the pool at the apartments (which was unfortunate but these things do happen) the only criticism of the apartment was the lack of blinds both to keep out the morning light, daytime heat, and to keep out mozzies. There are cream cotton curtains beaded at the bottom (when windy the beads bang so we tied them up) We were given on request, sheets to throw across the windows which did the job (and whilst we were there we had no mozzie problems) but all in all something at the windows to keep out the light, heat and mozzies would be preferable. Other than that, well recommended, easy parking on the street, nice and quiet and an easy stroll to supermarket, bars and restaurants.

As you know we were very sorry for the situation with the outdoor pool being out of use as our pump broke down and we were waiting for a replacement. Sadly this was not in time for your stay which was great shame so we organised and paid for access to the nearest pool plus compensation.
We've never had any problem with mosquitos as the apartment is at the foothills of the mountains and the beads at the end of our net curtains actually assist in keeping any stray insects at bay. Having spoken to our many guests over the years we prefer to leave the apartment cool and airy so we keep the windows free of heavy duty blinds/curtains as this can slightly overheat the apartment in the early morning. We hope you understand.
We're glad you enjoyed your holiday and as per our conversations since your return, we look forward to the possibility of hosting you again next year.

This fabulous 2 bed apartment is generous in size with a great balcony catching the sun for most of the day. Tucked on the edge of the old town it's only a stones throw from the hills and lots of great walks as well as a few minutes walk from the historic centre of Frigiliana town - where you can enjoy a choice of amazing restaurants and bars with inside and al-fresco dining/drinking options. The apartment is fully equipped with everything you need as well as a gorgeous outdoor pool with unobstructed sea and mountain views.
I would thoroughly recommend this great value, fully equipped lovely apartment set in the characterful town of Frigiliana. A perfect retreat in the hills and near enough to seaside town of Nerja (15 mins by car) to make easy day trips. -

My husband and I have enjoyed two holidays in this apartment and hope to book another visit for 2012. Our son was just 10 months old on our first visit and the owner organised for a travel cot to be available to save us needing to travel with one.
The apartment is very comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped. The balcony is almost level with the sun terrace and swimming pool and you can also see beautiful views of the white washed buildings climbing the hillside.
The swimming pool is small but was always empty everytime we used it so it felt like our own private pool! some of the other apartments in the block are owned by full time residents and this seems to create a very friendly, peaceful, restful atmosphere.
Frigiliana is a beautiful town; lots of tiny, cobbled alleys, whitwashed walls and baskets of flowers hanging from every window. We had some very enjoyable meals in the local restaurants. Only difficulty was getting our buggy over all of the cobbles and steps.
The closest seaside town, Nerja, is a short 10 min drive away and has many more restaurants and shops. We discovered a lovely strip of beach in Nerja with seaside bars and cafes selling fresh sardines and calamari. It seems well hidden (for some reason!) but worth searching for, as the beach is also very wide and the water shallow which was good for our son. On a very hot day we took shelter by visiting the Nerja caves, which were amazing and well worth a visit.
We would recommend this apartment to any family looking for a quiet base to enjoy a relaxing holiday. the owner, Damien, was very helpful and made every effort to provide everything we needed.

I really enjoyed my stay at this apartment. It was very clean and comfortable and within easy walking distance of the town with its shops and superb restaurants. A very picturesque location. The service of providing a "welcome pack" of groceries was particularly helpful as we arrived late at night.

We had a wonderful week in Frigiliana. The apartment is ideal. The location is good, the apartment clean and welcoming and it feels very secure. We used the pool & enjoyed the lovely views. We have already made enquiries about staying again next year.

The apartment is ideal as a base to explore the countryside roundabout. It is clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, a home from home. The apartment is on the edge of the village and just a few minutes walk from the old part of the village, which is really pretty with cobbled streets.
The view from the pool terrace is stunning and the pool was great to cool down in.
Frigiliana is a lovely place and we had a great time, and hope to visit again in the future.

This appartment is so wonderful, that we have decided immidiately to go back next year for a longer stay. We feel really at home here, it is clean, everything is in the house what you possible need during your stay, the service is perfect, we love it!
