This modern family villa is a 5 minute drive from the picturesque village of Frigiliana and is a spacious beautifully furnished home from home. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and enjoy both mountain and sea views. Both the stunning terrace and pool enjoy the sun all day long. Nestled in the foothills of the majestic Sierras de Tejeda y Almijara national park the villa enjoys stunning views but is still only ten minutes from Nerja beaches, restaurants and nightlife. Frigiliana is the the closest village which is 3.5km away. This white washed moorish village has a good selection of restaurants, shops and bars. The village is a maze of narrow cobbled streets lined by whitewashed houses which enjoy incredible views of the Sierras de Tejeda y Almijara Nature Park. Small plazas provide shady seating while the village bars are popular with visitors tasting locally produced wine. There are excellent shops selling pottery, furniture and clothes and numerous eateries serving a wide variety of food. Frigiliana has a small museum, a local swimming pool and gym and for small children a popular playground. At festival time the village becomes even more enchanting.
he town of Nerja is a 15 minute drive and has great beaches and seaside restaurants which cook enormous pans of paella and traditional stews. The seafood eateries in town are buzzing at lunchtime serving a variety of fresh fish. In the afternoon and early evening you can hang out at the Balcon - the hub of Nerja. A bench lined piazza framed by hotels and cafes and populated by street musicians, jugglers, tourists and locals. For night life there is a variety of bars and clubs to suit all tastes and for romantics there are even horse drawn carriages through the town.

This versatile area of Spain also means that a sunshine break can be combined with a skiing trip to the Sierra Nevadas, a short 90 minute drive away. Then back to Casa Micadan to chill out and rest those aching bones.
In addition the historic cities of Granada (1.5 hrs away), Cordoba & Seville are all within easy reach of Casa Micadan. A variety of beaches & coves can be found all along the Costa del Sol & the Costa Tropical and the shopping centres of Torre del Mar & Velez Malaga are all within easy driving distance.

We spent almost three weeks at Casa Micadan and had a wonderful family holiday! Fresh cup of coffee in the morning, delicious meals in the daytime and a sip of wine in the evening, all accompanied with completely stunning views over Costa del Sol in the sunny and spacious balcony of the villa. After a hot day at the Nerja beach there's no better way to cool off than to dip in the villa's great swimming pool. Casa Micadan was fairly easy to find, surroundings were peaceful and quiet and still close enough to enjoy Frigiliana, the most beautiful and pictoresque little village I have ever been to. Frigiliana and also Nerja had a great variety of restaurants and also supermarkets which supplied great spanish food to be cooked in the well-equipped kitchen. Our visit to Nerja Caves was a mind-blowing experience. If you plan to stay a bit longer, I recommend renting a car here so it's easy to visit Nerja daily and also the bigger cities nearby like Malaga or Granada for instance. I really miss Casa Micadan and Costa del Sol here spending the cold and snowy winter in Finland! Casa Micadan is the perfect place to go to with friends, families, anyone!

Casa Micadan was perfect place for our group; 4 adults, 2 children and a baby. Balconies were safe for children to play and ideal for adults to sunbath and enjoy a class of wine under the silent nigthsky. Landscape is astonishing and in the balcony you can see both, sunrise and sunset! Frigiliana and Nerja nearby offered plenty of activities, and absolutely yummy food! We are hoping to come back someday!

Our holiday in the beautiful Casa Micadan met and exceeded all the expectations we had! The place was clean, fully equipped and luxurious. The location on the mountains was beautiful and peaceful yet the shops, restaurants and beaches were not far away, either. The children enjoyed the pool and the adults loved hanging on the terrace in the evening, sipping wine and stargazing, while the children slept downstairs without being disturbed. Casa Micadan is a great place to stay in with toddlers, too, since the gates/ door can be closed in order to block the way to the pool and stairs.

Had a great week's stay at Casa Micadan - very romantic, secluded spot on the hills with an amazing view, and only 10 mins from Nerja and its beautiful beaches. The villa was spacious, all mod cons and a large terrace with great views. Also, the Restaurant next to the villa had the best views for a romantic night out. Will be going back there pronto!

The villa is really big and luxurious, with beautiful views of the mountains. We had amazing sunrises and sunsets pretty much every day, with skies clear enough to see the stars well at night. It's suitable for families - we were 4 adults and 3 kids under 4 y/o. There were even toys and games for the kids. The kitchen is big and well equipped, and eating outside was lovely and warm.
The quiet villa is great, and for activities Nerja is close by. The pool was a big hit with the kids, it was great that we didn't have to leave the villa to have something to do for the kids. -

My boyfriend and I stayed in Casa Micadan for two weeks and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The views are amazing and the house is very spacious and clean. I loved the fact we were away from all the tourists and had our own privacy and peace but we still weren't too far from all the shops and restaurants if we wanted to go out. We also had days where we didn't venture out to the town but just stayed in Casa Micadan - with it's own swimming pool and BBQ facilities there is enough to do! We had an absolutely wonderful time and I would definitely recommend the house. We will definitely go there again!

"This is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. The villa is not only attractive and spacious but is equipped to the highest standard and beautifully decorated. The sunny terrace is ideal for family barbeques and the view is stunning. Often the only sound that can be heard is goat bells, as they roam the mountains below. The bedrooms are comfortable and very cool in the heat of the Spanish sun, as is the pool. Frigiliana is characterful and charming to wander around with wonderful artisan shops and lovely restaurants, some of which also offer spectacular mountain views. Nerja town can supply all your shopping needs including fantastic fresh fish. Almeria is within easy driving distance and is a fascinating day trip. Its Moorish castle, Alcazeba, is the second largest among the Muslim fortresses in andalucÃa after the alhambra, which itself is less than two hours driving at amazing Granada. We left totally refreshed and will certainly be coming back.

"When I plan a holiday the first thing I think about is the culinary experience, which for me means the local produce that I can buy and prepare myself and the restaurants. Casa Micadan delivered both. The well equipped kitchen and traditional Spanish barbeque were well used and looking out over the Mediterranean while eating our superb food and drinking the local wine was a highlight for me. We loved the beachfront restaurants in Nerja with their gigantic pans of paella and slow cooked lamb stew and the hidden eateries of the beautiful Frigiliana. Casa Micadan is a great place to stay, so comfortable and spacious with amazing views. The kids spent hours in the pool. We are now looking forward to august when we will be at the villa once more for our family holiday which will be the fifth time that we have been back".
