Your ultimate vacation beach house starts with 2 ten foot wide porches , each equipped with rockers and hammocks and child gates. The front porch also has a swing and spectacular unobstructed views of the marsh and unrivaled marsh sunsets during the summer. We are fortunate to have the only home on Fripp with full size porches viewing both the ocean and marsh sunsets.
The beachside porch has rockers, hamm...ock, and a table for your morning coffee with sunrises for early risers, dinning, etc. In season you willl want to reach out and touch the shrimp boats and then go to the nearby docks for fresh seafood. Deer come daily for hand outs from the little ones which you aren't suppose to do but they love cherrios, apples and corn. The porch leads to an open deck seating area with shower, which inturn leads to the easy access beach. At low tide the beach is 400 ft wide and extends north 3 miles and south 12 houses to an inlet that fronts onto creeks, canal and a deserted island which can be accessed via kayaks. Mid tide beach is 200 ft wide. The beach normally has tidal pools for little ones. ITs ALL ABOUT THE BEACH !
At high tide there is little or no beach giving time to relax in one of three hammocks, two swings, many rockers and set up the baby pool in the porch shade. You can also visit the islands 7 pools, 10 tennis courts, 2 golf courses, miles of bike trails, gym, computer business center, five restaurants, cruises, fishing pier, crabbing dock, and much more. There are also several children's play grounds, children's camp, reduced children's golf after 3, nature center, deer and alligators. Most island venues require amenity cards for those over 12 yrs, which we can arrange at $50 each. One is required for equipment rent (golf car) and one is requied at restaurants for ALL over 12 yrs. The adjacent island to the north has a light house and nature center.
The sun room with panoramic ocean views has a desk w/ wireless internet for those that have to keep in touch with the OTHER world. The ample room is also equipped with a game table that seats five plus more relaxed seating with a love seat and 3 reading chairs for visiting. The living room has 2 large sofas, 2 over sized reading chairs, fire place(capped), TV w/cd/dvd and room for floor games..
The dinning room table tightly sits ten. There is an elevated counter-bar plus a standard protruding counter.The kitchen is fully equiped with two refrig w/ice makers, two ovens, one w/flat cook top, all modern appliances, an island and plenty of open pantry storage.
Bedrooms-Master with king,TV w/cd/dvd, love seat, doubles as childrens quiet room, connects to kitchen, private full bath. Hall bed room with double,TV uses hall full bath with safety bars. Two family bed rooms each with double and one single bed both share shower bath- sleep 3 each. Basement bed room with 2 singles, TV shower bath accessed via standard enclosed stair well. The bed rooms sleep 12 in beds and there are NO SOFA-SLEEPERS.
The basement cook area is equiped for grilling, shrimp boils, etc. and relaxing in more hammocks, swings and rockers.
The well supplied corral contains four kayaks and accessories, rusty bikes, assorted beach toys, beach chairs, crabbing supplies, baby pool and more beach stuff.
The front and rear porches include child gates. Both poches and ALL rooms are are equipped with ceiling fans.The ground level stairwell is accessible from the garage for all weather access. The washer and dryer are located on the main living floor. The master bedroom with love seat doubles as the childrens TV / dvd quiet room. It is connected to the kitchen enabling the hostess to better serve her guest. SOMEBODY has to keep order in PARADISE !
The islands wild life include deer every where, sea turtles that require late night patrol and our favorite taking grandchildren alligator hunting which should always be viewed from afar. NEVER ever feed them (the alligators).
Sunday check-in and check-out allows your weekend guest time to stay through Sunday mourning. Check-in is 4pm and check-out is 10am to provide adequite servicing time. Off season rental can be arranged through Monday to give you even more flexibility or your can make your own schedule to include two week ends.

The Beachfront home is located on south Fripp with full time EASY access to the beach with tidal pools for little ones. The Low tide beach extends north 3 miles and is 400 ft wide, mid tide is 200 ft wide and high tide has little or no beach.Twelve houses south is an inlet that fronts onto deserted Prichards Island, canal and creeks which can be accessed via kayaks. All are excellent for fishing, especially in the fall and winter red fish season, see pictures.
The Secure Gated community has low traffic and no fast thru traffic. All island venues are avaliable with amenity cards and include 7 pools, 10 tennis courts, 2 golf couses, children's camp, 2 play grounds, nature center, fishing peir, crabbing dock, equipment rental, deer and alligators, 5 restaurants, health club, computer business center, etc. Most island venues requirey amenity cards @ $50 each for those over 12 yrs.($35 in off season). Island north has light house, nature center and fishing peir.
The beach and inlet are excellent for surf fishing, especially in the fall and winter for spot tail red fish. See pictures.
