We needed accomodation with lots of room as we were 7 guys on or anual ski trip. The location is central for those with a Peaks pass with access to 7 mountains and the longest drive being 45 minutes. The accomodation is very comfortable with lots of entertainment provided (a full dvd library). Access to the club for the pool and hot tubs was also a bonus.

We've rented this patio home quite a few times and have generally been satisfied. Last year (August, 2011) we had one significant problem. We had just finished preparing dinner of steak and shrimp for our family and while I was standing in the kitchen the glass globe from the overhead light fell out, striking me in the back of the head and shattering on the counter. It ruined about $60 worth of food and we ended up having to throw all of the food away and clean up quite a mess.

We requested a rental property similar to the one we previously rented on Main Street in Frisco above the realty office. I do not consider this property to be at all on the same quality level as the Main Street property. Carpets were very dirty, the porch light did not work, the dining table is permanently sticky. Disappointing.

Family Reunion Disaster

This is my second attempt to describe our reservation nightmare we had with Mountain Management. My first was too full of detail. The annotated version follows:
We reserved 9 months in advance for a family reunion. All 70+ family members experienced reservation nightmares. Our confirmation letter was months late, had the wrong dates and number of people.
The day we arrived, we were given another unit, one bedroom smaller and told to farm out our grandchildren. We ended up in two units miles from the center where family events were to take place and half a mile apart from my immediate family. Because of reservation problems with the rest of the extended family, the oldest family member, handicap sticker, bad knees and hip replacement had to walk up the three flights of stairs to our replacement condo - no elevator.
