I am a fiction writer and also a travel writer. Favorite destinations: Mexico, Burma, Morocco. My base in Venice is sunny, quiet and peaceful - a great place to depart from and come home to after a trip away. It's close to the city yet removed, and tucked into Venice's lively beachside community - reachable on foot, by bicycle, or driving. A great place to be when I'm there, a lovely place for you to visit when I'm not.
