Hi,
My name is Mary. I have recently settled back in NY State after almost a decade abroad.
My brother Mike is also a traveller and all-around Adirondack enthusiast.
We are members of a large family that has loved visiting the Adirondacks for generations.
For me the best part about traveling has always been getting to know a new place and the people who live there. I love the feeling of being somewhere I have never been before, and figuring out my way around so that I can call it my own.
I enjoy people, and the breadth of knowledge that comes from listening to and learning from the folks I meet along the way.
With all the wonderful places I have traveled or lived, I am always drawn back to these beautiful Adirondack Mountains. There is a serenity and a vibrancy that is stimulating and sustaining.
