We were both career USAF and are now self-employed and semi-retired. Our daughter is active duty US Army. Angie lived less than a mile from here during high school and college before she entered the USAF. She knows the area very well and gives great directions!. She does fabric art, slipcovers for furniture, screen printing and other activities that are enjoyable and sometimes profitable. I am one of many independent consultants who work from home for a firm that deals with internet trends and marketing. I also do some woodworking and crafting and sell some of it on the internet. That's my enjoyable and sometimes profitable contribution to the budget.

We both have a variety of interests and there is normally one or more on-going projects around our house. It's normal to see us covered with things like thread, sawdust or paint. After the USAF we both did some work in the Home Décor industry as custom fabricators, so we have some interesting skill sets."
